When the Gordan Ramsay pony was with Cranky, you could clearly see from his lip movements that he says, "You donkey!", referencing one of his less clever, but still hilarious and popular insults.
The Golden Horseshoe Gals are based on the Golden Girls. I wish they were still alive. They all lived a good life and great friends. Based on the Golden Girls theme song, thank you for being a friend 😢😢😢👵👵👵💗💗💗
Trixies dad assistant have the same color schema like spike. All that background happening is really cool, from svengalop to rick and morty ponies. Keep your eyes on lyra and bonbon. AJ pulling RDs tail never gets old :P
This is a fun episode (my favorite part is Rainbow’s “dancing” at 15:15), but I do take issue with the lesson/moral. How the heck was Rainbow supposed to know that Applejack was just being overprotective? And is it really a good idea to teach kids to just blatantly disobey instructions (especially when it involves caretaking)?
The Rick and Morty cameo from an adult animated show that just might have more profanity in it than South Park was pretty funny and shows the makes of the show had an older audience in mind since no kid would never have seen it.
Why is the floating Applejack head winking at the end? The whole stressful situation was Applejack's fault in the first place, with that ridiculous list that caused Dash so much anxiety!
This is a pretty good episode. Not sure about Applejack being the source of conflict. The gold horseshoe gals are fun. Some of these jokes are just wow.
