$200 on Beats is a waste of money. $200 on a pair of Sennheisers, AKGs, or any other brand that actually provides decent sounding headphones? More than worth it.

The reason they are expensive is because of the heavy marketing, they pay musicians to endorse their brand.

$200+ for Beats lol! Even if you're buying them for the looks, it's not even worth it imo. Now a real deal would be the Audio Technica ath-m50's . I got mine for $102 and they are much better than Beats imo.
Headsets in general shouldn't even be worn in public. They just look bulky and stupid (especially beats). If you are going to listen to music in public, you should wear earbuds.

Sound quality doesn't even factor into the equation when you go around looking like you are the sole survivor of an experimental lobotomy procedure gone horribly wrong. I'll repeat the statement I made a year ago, and it still stands. Headphones are fucking ugly, fucking stupid looking, and shouldn't be worn in public. Oh, and I type this as I wear a nice Razer Blackshark headset... In the comfort of my own home with nobody else around.
