Posljednjih mjesec dana sam na Bijelom otoku – da dobro odrađeno prijatelju, naslađujem se – provodim značajnu količinu vremena vozeći se sa svojom kohortom do i od kafića na plaži dok se usput zaklinjem na internet u našoj vili.
Budući da nisam jedan za CD-ove puno ovih dana kao što sam zalijepljen za ovu školjku kao stvar koju zovu laptop većinu budnih sati u posljednje vrijeme jedva da imam priliku slušati ove rotirajuće laserske diskove mnogo više.
Dok sam istrčao kroz vrata zgrabio sam šaku koja mi je nedavno dodijeljena na mom sretnom i svetom pragu. Jedan od njih uključivao je ovu stvar gledanja ljepote cipela Still Corners LP.
Nakon što sam se već navlažio nad singlom Kukavice nedavno sam bio prilično sjajan oko izgleda za cijeli album, ali i ispunjen strepnjom o tome kako se može protezati preko cijelog albuma, a da ne zvuči previše nacrtano.
Tako je na jednom od tih putovanja daleko od de-internet prebivališta ovaj album umetnut u laserski spremnik diska La Voiturea i sve je bilo smireno u jednom naletu albuma.
Razlog zbog kojeg ovaj album radi za moje uši je činjenica da su svaku pjesmu ošišali na 3 minute blaženog zvučnog pop blaženstva.
I sve to od Sub Popa? Kako su se moćni razlikovali u posljednje vrijeme.
Za sunce na Bijelim otočju ili doista kako se približavaju jesenske noći (prvi put kad sam čuo kukavicu bilo je usred ljeta, ali teško se taj sezonski opis nije mogao pripisati srednjim mjesecima ove godine u glavnom gradu) ne mogu to preporučiti dovoljno visoko.
Zaista jedan od mojih vrhunaca godine do sada.

For the past month, I've been on the White Island – to make a good friend, gloat – spend a significant amount of time driving with my cohort to and from beach cafes while swearing online in our villa along the way.
Since I'm not one for CDs a lot these days as I'm glued to this shell like the thing they call a laptop most waking hours lately I barely get a chance to listen to these rotating laser discs much more.
As I ran out the door, I grabbed the fist recently assigned to me on my happy and sacred doorstep. One of them included this thing of seeing the beauty of Still Corners LP shoes.
Having already moistened myself over the single Cowards recently I was quite great about the look for the whole album, but also filled with trepidation about how it can stretch across the entire album without sounding too drawn.
So on one of these trips away from de-internet residency, this album was inserted into the laser container of La Voiture's disc and everything was calm in one flurry of albums.
The reason this album works for my ears is the fact that they cut each song to 3 minutes of blissful sonic pop bliss.
And all that from Sub Pop? How the powerful have differed lately.
For the sun in the White Isles or indeed as autumn nights approach (the first time I heard a coward was in the middle of summer, but hardly that seasonal description could not be attributed to the middle months of this year in the capital) I can't recommend it highly enough.
Truly one of my highlights of the year so far.

Au cours du dernier mois, j’ai été sur l’île blanche - pour faire un bon ami, se réjouir - passer une quantité importante de temps en voiture avec ma cohorte vers et depuis les cafés de la plage tout en jurant en ligne dans notre villa le long du chemin.
Comme je ne suis pas un pour les CD beaucoup ces jours-ci que je suis collé à ce shell comme la chose qu’ils appellent un ordinateur portable la plupart des heures de veille ces derniers temps, j’ai à peine une chance d’écouter ces disques laser rotatifs beaucoup plus.
Alors que je courais par la porte, j’ai attrapé le poing récemment qui m’avait été attribué sur le pas de ma porte heureuse et sacrée. L’un d’eux comprenait cette chose de voir la beauté des chaussures Still Corners LP.
Ayant déjà humidifié moi-même sur le single Cowards récemment, j’étais assez grand sur le look pour l’ensemble de l’album, mais aussi rempli d’appréhension sur la façon dont il peut s’étendre sur l’ensemble de l’album sans sonner trop dessiné.
Ainsi, lors d’un de ces voyages loin de la résidence de dé-internet, cet album a été inséré dans le conteneur laser du disque de La Voiture et tout était calme dans une rafale d’albums.
La raison pour laquelle cet album fonctionne pour mes oreilles est le fait qu’ils ont coupé chaque chanson à 3 minutes de bonheur pop sonore béatitude.
Et tout cela de Sub Pop? Comment les puissants ont différé ces derniers temps.
Pour le soleil dans les îles Blanches ou même à l’approche des nuits d’automne (la première fois que j’ai entendu un lâche était au milieu de l’été, mais à peine cette description saisonnière ne pouvait pas être attribuée aux mois du milieu de cette année dans la capitale), je ne peux pas le recommander assez fortement.
Vraiment l’un de mes points forts de l’année jusqu’à présent.
