Thanks, but I'm not entirely sure what you mean by the meter being off in a few places. Did I not sync the vocal properly, or are there issues with the swinging tambourine and the bass' grace notes? Those are the only things I can imagine to have problems.
Meter, in songwriting, refers to the rhythm of the lyrics. For the most part, it holds up, but in places it feels a bit constrained. Rap meter is known for being both very tight in construction and very loose in delivery, and a bit more of that style of delivery would definitely make this a much stronger piece
