I'm still able to play flash games using Internet Explorer on my Windows 7 laptop.

You can even create playlists to store your favorite Flash games, and I even hooked up my Switch Pro Controller to work with the app too!

Another reason why i’m sad Flash is gone other than the games is because i enjoy going through a lot of old websites on the Wayback Machine, and many websites back then had Flash as a crucial part to them. Meaning that many archived sites now aren’t gonna work anymore.

There's a few new extensions that allow you to play most games.
They're currently still in development at the moment, but beta versions are still available and can be installed by downloading and importing an extension file into Chrome with dev mode on.

There is still a way to play it: go to a site that hosted these beloved games, and go into “inspect element” when in the link where the game was supposed to be. Obtain the .swf file via searching keywords “https” “cdn” and “swf”. Lastly, get the last working version of flash player. Run flash player and load in the swf file. TADA YOU CAN PLAY IT AGAIN

Hey I'm really late to this so idk if anyone will see this, but in case someone is really interested in playing flash games now there's this site called blue maxima, you can download this thing called flashpoint it's basically an archive of tons and tons of old flash games including the papas games that you can get on your laptop. It's completely safe I've been using it for a couple months now and it was really a lifesaver because I spend a lot of my free time playing flash games.
