Blind Reaction: MLP FIM Season 7 Episode 3 "A Flurry of Emotions"

Let's just take a moment to realize what a good little foal Flurry is.
Twilight buries her in present, and while she inspects each one, she doesn't try to open ANY of them until one is specifically given to her.
She's brought into a toy store, full of toys, and doesn't fuss about any of them not being hers, or when they're 'taken away' to be scanned.
When the Cake twins are fighting, she tries to get the attention of two separate grownups before trying to resolve it herself.
And she only throws a tantrum after what has been a colossally disappointing day where nopony is paying any real attention to her.
That foal is a foalsitter's dream.

I just realized shining armor’s specialty was shield spells. Guess that’s something flurry inherited from her father.

Flurry doesn't really have much of a character, being a baby and all, but she is fairly smart for one her age. Not sure if that's an alicorn thing, but she might grow up to be a genius at that rate.

This is the first of many S7 episodes that I really enjoyed. I actually predicted a Flurry Heart episode would be featured in this season and I couldn’t have been happier. There’s a great deal of adorable moments here, not just from Flurry, but Twilight as well and I respect that. Overall, this is a fun S7 episode in my opinion.

Flurry Heart is pretty smart for her age, and she learn fast... not surprising her and Twilight made such a great duo... I am sure she will make a great princess when she will be old enough to rule the Crystal Empire... like Twilight one day....

Fun Fact: Grogar and Gusty are two other characters that are featured in G1 of MLP (The Return of Tambelon to be exact).

Flurry Heart sure is filled with energy and mischief at the same time. At the same time, both Shining Armor and Cadence do care plenty while being far away from their baby.

Yeah this is after Sunburst helped stabilize and get her magic under control. She was actually doing a really good job of controlling her magic she was just freaking out over the loss of her Whammy. Like Starlight said last episode the more you feel the stronger your magic is. Plus as an Alicorn her magic is still gonna be far stronger then normal even if its under control.

Every parent needs to learn this lesson:
Never yell at your kids.

This is a pretty good episode. It's nice to see Flurry Heart again. Twilight is pretty good. I don't get art either.

Such a cute episode. Very wholesome.

Twilight cashes a lot of goodwill chips in this episode. She frankly didn't behave like a very good pony, let alone a good princess. Even her apologies are mostly just buying people off. Apology cakes, shortcutted by Pinkie's piling system so Twilight didn't even need to try to get to know the people she's apologizing to... Including Pinkie, who she tosses money at to make her own apology dessert.

It's realistic in a portrayal of a rich, entitled person who is distracted by something they consider more important than the commoners around them, but I give the victims in town a bye on any catty rudeness or guff they give to Twilight and her cohorts later on.
