I'm going to be honest. I did not read Fallout : Equestria. But this song is so awesome it might get me to read it someday ! Seriously, this is just so perfect !
I don't think so, I think everyone who is able or willing to pay has already done so. Plus, the 2nd printing was for like, 3 books and I just preferred the larger set. It sits nicer on a shelf.
I realize this comment is a bit late but I spoke with the man in charge of publications back at Bronycon. A third publication is not likely to happen any time soon if for no other reason than those involved are back in school and need to focus on that sort of thing.
The original publication had 5 books. The second still had the entire 5 book story but they condensed it into 2 compilations to keep costs down. I got a hold of a copy myself and the quality is excellent. You might still be able to contact the staff to see if there are any spare or unclaimed copies in stock.
On a related note "Past Sins" is also receiving a second publication granted it's minus much of the original bonus artwork. Just use the "Contact" form and ask to be put on the wait list since the original sign-up has passed. The printing is expected to be complete Oct 15th, so hop on it if your interested.
I get a little bit nostalgic when I listen to this, as the intro reminds me slightly of the Magitek Research Facility from FF6.
Anyway, this song is amazing, the music is so energetic and the lyrics inspire me to get up and move. I haven't read FO:E yet, but now I'm seriously considering it. Amazing work as always you two.
Oh, that is good. I love that industrial intro. One of these days, I've got to get around to reading Fallout Equestria, as much as people talk about it.
This is some crazy coincidence. After I downloaded fallout new vegas and a butt load of pony mods for it, the fandom has been pouring out FOE stuff like crazy. Perfect for me, all this great music to go with gaming.
psychgoth Why wish when you can do? If a game has already has a steam workshop attached to it, like skyrim for example, then all you have to do is scroll through and subscribe to whatever mod and it loads itself. Unfortunately Fallout does not have a workshop and things get a wee bit lengthy. So you have three things you'll need to download, Nexus mod manager, Fallout mod manager, and Fallout New Vegas script extender. 1) type in fallout nexus in google and the first option should say Fallout new vegas mods and community. 2) Once on the web site on the top you should see "install NMM (0.52.1), that's the mod manager that lets you install and turn mods on and off. 3) in the nexus search bar type in fallout mod manager or fomm, download it manually and run the installer. 4) google "fallout new vegas script extender" and download the zip, plenty of instruction on how to install is given on the main website and in the "read me" file in the zip. Thats about all of the most necessary stuff. Once all these are downloaded, you can start properly modding. Most mods have a "download with manager" button, just click it, it'll open the Nexus Mod manager and show you the download and time it takes. then once its finished, on the left side there will be a button that looks like a puzzle piece with a green arrow on it, click it to turn mods on and off. If you have to manually download something its often as easy as dropping the extracted zip files into Fallout's data folder, thats what FMM helps you manage. I strongly recommend downloading The Weapon Mod Menu, The Mod Configuration Menu, New Vegas Stutter Remover, and 4GB Fallout New Vegas. These are all found in the nexus and will help manage in game mods and help the game run smoother. Remember to read the mod descriptions on the nexus, they almost always tell you exactly what to do. Happy modding!
psychgoth Ha! Yeah, when you first start its all a bit overwhelming, but all you really need to do is download those first three things and you're golden. You'll be a 1337 h4x0r in no time. If you get any questions feel free to ask, I'm all about spreading the joy of game breaking.
psychgoth Aye I'm the same, beat it legit then turn it into something else entirely. My buddies are always asking, "wait how'd you get storm trooper armor? Huh, I don't remember hover boards being a thing. Why are you driving a car? how'd you get Apple Jack as a follower?!" I'm just like,"huehuehuehuehue!"
psychgoth Yeah, you'd be surprised how much that's asked for, but lucky you there is a sprint mod in the nexus. I haven't used it but take heart that it does exist.
This is really good. I mean no offence when I ask this, but can you also make an instrumental of this? I like the lyrics and vocals, I just also like instrumentals too.
This song is about LittlePip, isn't it? Cause I'm reading Fallout Equestria: Project Horizons right now and I'm definitely noticing some similarities with with it's main character Blackjack in the song's lyrics. Is this coincidence, intentional or am I just over-interpreting stuff here? ;) Oh, and also: Great job! I can't stop listening to this song and with me that usually means it's really, REALLY good =)
Not on the musicians part, it's similar, because Somber is a hack that ripped off anything he could from the original, while ignoring anything he didn't like, all while flat out insulting the original and Kkat every chance he could get away with it. And not having a single bit of actual respect for either, all while milking the FOE name to trick people into reading his own..... thing.....
Because it's a fighting song and that's Sabaton's thing. Also funnily enough, I showed Cyril the song "Uprising" when I told him what kinda song I had in mind lol.
Hmmm, well love the music, the lyrics, are nice but the singing was a little to... screech? harsh? Screamy? for my tastes. So, on it's own, eh, listen to able but not awesome... HOWEVER it's abut Littlepip, that alone propels it right to pure awesome.
Yes that was why I KNEW I had to bring Cyril in on this project. The Wasteland is harsh, and the story of it's hero is a difficult one, so I believed Cyril could bring this out with no problems.
I'm going to be honest. I did not read Fallout : Equestria. But this song is so awesome it might get me to read it someday !

And there's some references to rape and such.

Printed you say? Is there any way to still get a set of the books? Preferably the old set with 4/5?
3 likesUnfortunately not. The distributors had anyone interested sign a waiting list back in June to get the two book set delivered. Sorry.

Sounds pretty damn awesome. The synth line and guitars and pounding beat make it stand out. Works better as a Blackjak song imho.
