Their only release, Excalibur's First Album, is a pretty good hard boogie rock recording. What I don't like is that there's too much Hartmut Scholgens organ and not enough W. Odenkirchen guitar.
That doesn't mean the organ, Hammond actually, is bad, that's pretty good. What a guitar exists is not bad, but there is not enough. Another great "one and done" from the best year for music ever .... 1971.This is a mixture of organ and some krautrock elements. Their style is a little generic if you ask me, but most of the time this album sounds pretty fun. All the songs are pretty polite and listened to and none of them stand out as a big highlight. On the other hand, none of them was anything naturally positive.
Although Excalibur's debut LP is nothing big, it's still worth checking out if you're a fan of these genres. But don't set our expectations too high because this is nothing mindful or unique. (Except for Tovan: Well then, why do you keep reviewing and panning every track in the genre? Doesn't it make more sense to review what you can be a little fairer about?) He makes a solid example of krautrock, if not a little commercial sound, but with a lot of catchy, uptempo mat'l. Ratings - 1 A-, 4 B+s, 3 B and B-. Ladislaus&Z.............

To ne znači da je orgulje, Hammond zapravo, loše, to je prilično dobro. Što gitara postoji nije loše, ali nema dovoljno. Još jedan veliki "jedan i gotovo" iz najbolje godine za glazbu ikad .... 1971.Ovo je mješavina orgulja i nekih krautrock elemenata. Njihov stil je malo generički ako mene pitate, ali većinu vremena ovaj album zvuči prilično zabavno. Sve pjesme su prilično pristojne i slušane i nijedna se ne ističe kao veliki vrhunac. S druge strane, nitko od njih nije bilo što je prirodno pozitivno.
Iako Excaliburov debitantski LP nije ništa veliko, još uvijek vrijedi provjeriti jeste li ljubitelj tih žanrova. Ali nemojte postavljati naša očekivanja previsoko jer ovo nije ništa umno ili jedinstveno.(Osim Tovana: Pa onda, zašto stalno pregledavate i panning svaki zapis u žanru? Zar nema više smisla pregledati ono na što možete biti malo pošteniji?)Pravi solidan primjer krautrocka, ako ne i malo komercijalnog zvuka, ali s puno privlačnog, uptempo mat'l. 0 likesCela ne veut pas dire que l’orgue, Hammond en fait, est mauvais, c’est plutôt bon. Ce qu’une guitare existe n’est pas mauvais, mais il n’y en a pas assez. Un autre grand « un et fait » de la meilleure année pour la musique jamais .... 1971.Il s’agit d’un mélange d’orgue et de certains éléments de krautrock. Leur style est un peu générique si vous me demandez, mais la plupart du temps, cet album semble assez amusant. Toutes les chansons sont assez polies et écoutées et aucune d’entre elles ne se démarque comme un grand point culminant. D’un autre côté, aucun d’entre eux n’était naturellement positif.
Bien que le premier LP d’Excalibur n’ait rien de grand, il vaut toujours la peine de vérifier si vous êtes un fan de ces genres. Mais ne définissez pas nos attentes trop élevées car ce n’est rien de conscient ou d’unique. (À l’exception de Tovan: Eh bien, pourquoi continuez-vous à revoir et à panoramique chaque piste du genre? N’est-il pas plus logique de revoir ce que vous pouvez être un peu plus juste?)
