Yeah sure, Rarity can cajole and seduce ponies, but the important thing when talking about Canterlot is that she already has a solid reputation as a Canterlot VIP thanks to her shop, her connections, and her friendship with Fancy Pants.
1:18 Can we address the fact that it is extremely possible that the map has been sending them on friendship problems this whole time but they've been missing them because the map was broken.
This episode has one of my favorite lessons in the entire show, because it's obviously not only about food. Basically, it's "think for yourself". Just because someone thinks or believes or likes something one way, doesn't mean you have to. Or, you don't have to have the same opinion as everyone else. if you like it, you like it. if you hate it, you hate it. And that shouldn't be a concern for anyone unless your're hurting people in some way. Pretty much my life's motto.
@@magic_pink_horse That's your opinion but I think the orginal song will always be the best regards and although the remix has an slightly unusual but interesting retake on it that I will say. Sometimes less is more and more is less each to their own.
20:27 "That one's cute." That's Sweet Biscuit. She was the first one who bought and put on Rarity's princess dress in Canterlot Boutique, during the song Rules of Rarity.
This series reminded me of the impact that 6 colorful ponies have on the world. They revived the restaurants in Canterlot, gave Mainhetten a chance to become a friendlier place, stopped the senseless enmity of two families. What they will do in the next seasons is generally difficult to describe briefly, pony way globalization. Truly, friendship is magic, it's scary to imagine Equestria without friendship and mane 6.
Although no, it's not difficult, just look out the window, lol.
This is a good map episode in my opinion. Nice to see that the show kept the trend of having two of our Mane characters tackling a friendship mission and having Rarity and Pinkie doing one was a nice combo. This is another episode where another character has caught my eye, just like Ember, that being Saffron Masala. Her personality is not only likable, but her design is really cool too. I also like the song In this episode as well, it has a good beat and emits a nice Indian music style to it. Another one of my favorite Cutie Map episode’s overall.
This. This is the episode that more people in the fandom need to rewatch in response to . . . recent events that you'll learn about in time. You shouldn't judge things based off of other people's opinion, or because of how it looks, OR because it's different from what you're used to. You should give it a try, and make your judgement honestly, based off of whether you really liked it or not.
I love this episode. It's such a charming and accurate representation of how Indian culture revolves so much around good, hearty food. It's quite amazing.
Omg hahahahahahahah In red they really put Gordon Ramsay in it near the end he is the first to walk in when pinkie opens the door....they even put his fucking wrinkles on his forehead hahahah I'm done I soo done this is hilarious
Edit... I just realized that I'm guessing they couldnt get him in the episode so they just put a cameo instead... still funny as fuck. This edit was 5 minutes after the first post
Imo this song represents in perfect manner what it needs to become successfull - even if the lyrics shows, that Rarity and Pinkie march on different paths, the melody made proof that as a team they create something great. And it's true that noones way is complety right when it's sepparated from the other one - both of them are needed: you have to get attention in a harsh dictated community where that's not for free - BUT you should stay true to yourself, if you want to be reminded in great manner.
Basicaly they just didn't had to change anything for getting the restaurant running, but to let RT make the crowd floating in. BUT they needed to fail to get closer again and for getting remembered, what their original dream was.
Really like this episode and of course I'm into this amazing song x3 And besides I love seeing RT testing the hoity-toity-foods taste like: "njem njem.." xD Sheesh now I'm hungry :'3
I love pinkipie so much and I'm glad Pinkiepie and Rarity was able to solve a friendship problem together. And in EQ human PinkiePie catches Rarity when she faints after asking her if she's ok aw.
An episode like this one that obviously uses food as a metaphor for religion Zesty Gormond clearly representing western Abrahamic religion being insecure to the point of being offended when others don't share her opinion the tasty treat representing eastern religion with Coryanders statement "welcome to the tasty treat you can eat here or not who cares basically summing up how Hindus and Buddhists feel about religion was probably a response to the show being called Satanic by dumb fundamentalist Christians at about this time.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qCbF8Zo1NU
@@winter2716 I was just saying; if they thought they made Twilight an atheist in feeling pinkie keen why would it be beyond them to compare eastern vs western Abrahamic religion here whether they did it intentionally or it's just the perfect topic because religion is the food of the soul nonetheless, The tasty treat does sum up how eastern religions feel about religion with Coryanders you can eat here or not statement statement, and zesty Gourmand does sum up Abrahamic religions not only in telling others what to think but their insecure be us or go to hell or go to hell attitude, that Islam and Christianity in particular have, it might have been intentional or it might have been like in the video I recently saw sarcastically called "Hinduism the best/ perfect religion for the 21'st century" where the guy quotes a beautiful line from the Hindu Upanishads that says says all religions are valid because they come from the same place; than he ironically proceeded to try and use to say why Hinduism is wrong I'm sure he wasn't being ironic on purpose that was just God using God's favorite form of humor of humor (irony) to make him look like an ass. looking back on the episode with a Hindu point of view it can be observed that based on what they like to eat of the three modes of existence Hindus can tell you are in based on what you eat; than Pinkie exists in the mode of passion because she likes spicy food, and Zesty Gourmand exists in the mode of ignorance because she likes bland food the fact that those descriptions match them so well tells me they either did it on purpose or that part of Hinduism is not only right but it pertains to fictional characters as well as real people.
I like the song in this one, but I'm surprised they didn't have any dancing Bollywood ponies. The visuals are lacking and repetitive as a result (even to the point of recycling Pinkie's piggy bounce from "Baby Cakes"). I also dislike how they included Minuette as one of the snobbish stuck-up ponies refusing Pinkie and Saffron's invitation during the song, considering they'd already established that Minuette is a good friend of Pinkie's. Season 6 has a few weird continuity issues like that.
Yes some are spicy I don't do well with spices I prefer dishes like lamb korma if I'm being completely honest. Its sweet and savoury the best of both words but that's just my opinion.
oh god yes. rich and flavorful. you'll feel like you're dining like royalty. try to find places that do a full lunch or dinner buffet. that way you can try like 20 different dishes and see what you like
Zesty is no critic, I don't think she even does any critiquing of food. She just uses her influence to force restaurants to make their food they way SHE likes it. What kind of 'fine dining' did she grow up around anyway? Because she has no taste buds
