There are pc speakers that are proper tweeters rather then small like the ones you bought. There is also some extra performance too get from the 9550 if you have a fan plugged in on that molex 3 pin adapter too cool it, like a 1000 - 1200 rpm 120mm fan at the bottom of the case stuck down with like some velcro in both the case & on the fan too keep it standing somewhat & not moving as easily & replace the thermalpaste between the gpu cooler & gpu. (It might be a new in box card but that thermalpaste is still close too 20 years old.) I wouldn't trust it, specially when there is much better thermalpaste these days. And then overclock it a bit via ati tray tools, great little program for older ati cards if the drivers don't let you overclock even on some laptop igpus.
Think you'll reach similar numbers too my gigabyte 9550 ddr ram version which lifted performance another 5 - 15% or so basically depending on the game & workload. The smaller package ddr version of the card is the good one but also probably costs extra vs just overclocking the current card or replacing it with something faster on the agp slot. Think 3dmark 2001 se score went from around 8900 too 11500 points or so with a 2.8 ghz pentium 4 & 1 gb ram at the time. Haven't touched that card since like 2018 or so as i scrapped that build for the most part, kept the hdd, soundcard, case, gpu & 3.5 front slotted fan controller that can do 3 fans but probably can be pushed too 6 with 2 per header no problem if they are fairly low powered & not like delta 4500 rpm 120mm fans or something crazy like that but more like 2x be quiet 120mm fans at 1500 rpm per channel.
I was needing more performance for what i'd like too run, but then just went eh screw it i'll make it work on my main pc which with some effort almost every game i wanted too run did. At the top of my head it's just excessive speed atm that isn't on my windows 7 rig here but i got it working on my windows xp laptop & also carmageddon tdr 2000 which doesnt like newer nvidia cards like my 1660 super even though someone had the game running on a titan black just fine.
Around 450 - 480 mhz core & like 220 - 237 mhz vram i pushed the 9550 too with a 120mm fan pointed at the card comparing the stock numbers here being at 250 core & 200 mhz memory so a pretty decent jump in frequency still.

I'll give you some good tips for winXP that has SSE2 cpu, install it all again, this time install windows XP integral edition, use snappy driver installer for all your drivers (except for gpu) and use radeon omega drivers for your radeon 9000 series card. That takes all the pain and hassle out of it and everything is just DONE.

@@mmatej16 That Pentium 4 HT 3.0GHz Northwood doesn't have NX bit which has been a requirement since Windows 8. I've heard there is some ways to bypass that but some updates might brake it. Windows 10 dropped support for AGP graphics cards on version 1607 so new Win10 versions wouldn't work anyway. Windows 7 is the newest that installs and runs without any problems
This was a great video! I have video suggestions for this computer, I think you can try to update it, there is a great video made by i430vx that explains how to update Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Vista. There is someone who made a WSUS server that contains all of Windows Xp's updates, as well POSReady2009. There is the video's link: https://youtu.be/vdIVMwV9MCk
Am still running workhorse legacy applications on my home network using XP Pro SP3. Still does my work just like it did 20 years ago. XP screens are perfect no nonsense business work. Does NOT have that Made by Mattel look of later windows versions. Am a technical user with multiple level directories open at once and must Alt Tab quickly between them. The Search feature is faster and superior to the back handed Search option in Windows 7. I use that Up Arrow in XP all the time.
XP was the last of the work horse operating systems from Microsoft. From Windows 7 onward, the op sys became one of Let me hold your hand, Let me guess automatically what is good for you, Let me show you how pretty my screens are --- soft pastels and gentle ICONs and non-threatening touch (click) options. But XP is not supported! Well, so what? It never stopped working for me, and I never needed to call MS for support.
Now, in fairness to Microsoft Corp., there are many serious reasons they had to evolve the Windows system like they did/are doing. Some of them are: 1. System security advancements to stay ahead or even with hacker invasions. 2. Reduce the volume of elementary 1-800 Help calls for simple instructions by installing more hand holding for the multitude of non-technical users. 3. Add new features which the old XP system structure could not integrate. (XP cannot count addresses above 2 terabytes. Too long.) 4. Add new code to take advantage of advancing capabilities of newer CPU chips. 5. Add stricter control over what level of outside software is being installed. Verify that it fits minimum system safety standards. 6. MS Corp.'s concern of what is best for the humongous and growing number of non-technical users relying on the Windows system. 7. And not intending to sound crass here, but the new burst of revenue from sales of a new release is really nice for that bottom line.
For the decreasing number of Windows XP and such technical users who must keep running legacy software, We have a stable system that can safely keep operating behind add-on security guards. We have solved nearly every system problem over the years, so we're good there. Windows 7 is a good relative of XP for dealing with the Internet world. W7 screens are still reasonably simple.
I came across your videos as I am trying to resurect my old Dell Dimensions 4550 to run MSFlight simulator and all my space sim games again. You're a funny guy, you broke me up with the "Damnit China" gags lmao... At any rate, during the process I found out that "Retro Builds" and "Retro Gaming" is a thing now. I thought what better, more authentic, an experience can you have other than using "the real deal"!.. I also found out that back in the day For 2002, my Dell socket 478 with a Pentium 4 running @ 2.4 GHZ 512 L2cache and a ATI Radeon 9700 pro gpu was a real hot rod in retrospect (pardon).. I see all the Retro community videos about how great that hardware I chose actually was back then...I'll admit, resurecting Lazarus (the rig's new name) has been an ordeal and still is, but also a very nostalgic and enjoyable one. Like yourself in the video I ran into the same problem you did with the ATI drivers when i tried installing my 9700 pro card, when it became apparent I needed to install .Net Framework 2.0. That proved to be sort of a challenge as the drivers back then didn't require it as .Net Framework was not introduced into Windows until Vista I believe. At this time Im using an old eGeForce6200 that is barely doing the job. I'm working on my ATI GPU at the moment, it's artifacting and I suspect it has memory issues. I plan to reball the processor and RAM and rework the card myself. Fun fun fun! Back in the day I thought I bricked the gpu by installing the wrong drivers while trying to overclock it. Then later the whole rig had unrelated blue screen errors and was soon replaced with a new machine. Through this process I learned at around the 2004 timeframe there was a group of XP enthusiasts the modified the ATI drivers with many tweaks such as new installers , cleaners, and even overclocking driver mods. They are called the "Omega Drivers"and people are having a lot of success using them, you should look into it. I liked and subbed. Good luck bruh...

Its only a handfull in the government which are lunatics, including a guy which we do not speak of here… I still watch russian movies, TV-shows and YouTubers. I am really hoping that the war will soon come to an end, and that Russia can be “incorporated” into not being seen as the worlds most evil guy anymore. Cheers to you, Enderman. @@mmatej16 That Pentium 4 HT 3.0GHz Northwood doesn't have NX bit which has been a requirement since Windows 8. I've heard there is some ways to bypass that but some updates might brake it.
0 likesWindows 10 dropped support for AGP graphics cards on version 1607 so new Win10 versions wouldn't work anyway. Windows 7 is the newest that installs and runs without any problems

1 likeThis was a great video!

1 likeAm still running workhorse legacy applications on my home network using XP Pro SP3. Still does my work just like it did 20 years ago. XP screens are perfect no nonsense business work. Does NOT have that Made by Mattel look of later windows versions.
0 likesAm a technical user with multiple level directories open at once and must Alt Tab quickly between them.
Some of them are:
Too long.)

1 likeI really liked this video and I think its a shame that the media portrays all Russians as evil madmen. Also, I am now subscribed. :)
