Huge congratulations on starting book 3, bro! This is definitely gonna be fire!) Great reaction, as always! Now, PonyBro, how about a challenge?) I know that I’m not your close friend or anything, so you have all rights to decline it BUT! I really do think that you haven’t done those kind of “stupid”challenges in a while) The only one I recall was “The Ultra Sunglasses challenge” when you were on 2nd season of MLP. So, if you are still reading this: during every Avatar reaction after this one to the last episode of book 3 you will have to say the full intro along with Katara) (Not just “ But I believe, Aang can save the world ”) :) If you are up to the task that would be absolutely amazing! I loved it when you said the full intro the first time! Keep up the good work :P
The island Aang washed up on was Crescent Island at the end of the episode is the same place with the temple (that got destroyed), where connected to Roku during winter solstice in season 1. It is also the easternmost island in the Fire Nation.
This premiere episode was a great start to Book: Fire imo! The interactions between the characters is probably my favorite part of this episode. For example, Katara’s heartfelt conversation with her father. That was a strong moment.
And seeing how Aang was struggling to do things alone and speaking to Roku, plus Yue. That scene reminded me of The Lion King, when Simba was speaking to Mufasa’s spirit and that he was giving him guidance. Also a powerful moment.
So yeah, great episode and great reaction! Looking forward to the next one!
One interesting fact that I’ve learned about Ozai is that he was voiced by Mark Hamill, who is well known as the Joker from Batman: the animated series.😉
More accurately, "who is well known to be The Man, The Legend Himself". He's very important as Joker in DC Animated series, but he have a ton of presence in media, From Luke Skywalker (Both Original Trilogy, Sequels Abomination and even Robot Chicken: Star Wars) to Experiment 210: Shapeshifter in Gravity Falls and from Goro Majima in English dub of Yakuza to some roles in Miyazaki-sama's works (English dub again)
Don't listen to them, Ponybro. I'm sure it's been a long time and not only Katara, but also the rest of the ATLA girls once a month. They're all quite grown-up.
@@Narrator007 I understand him wanting someone to take care of his little firebender (Mai should probably get that checked, by the way). But considering Zuko has almost as many waifu options as Sokka, I just don't see how Mai ended up being his permanent soulmate. (but then, part of the problem is that we also don't get to know Mai all that well, as most of her limited screentime just shows her not caring about anything)
Well, there was a rather significant amount of time unaccounted for between books two and three, when Aang was out. And during this time Zuko was on a long, uneventful voyage home, with no goals or responsibilities to preoccupy him for the first time in years.

3 likesTo this day, I still don't understand the Zuko/Mai relationship. The show never explains how or why they got together. They just... are.
