I love that in Marcy’s final expressions in this episode are golden. Her going from precious Marcy to horror, than sadness, anger, and fear, then went to her full crazed rant before finally breaking down Amazing.
Funfact : This episode was delayed from its original airing date because Disney was not sure until the end if they wanted to allow the stabbing thing or not
@Pant Yosashu Blood has never been the major issue regarding kid shows. It's the violence that causes studios to sweat. Violence in cartoons is wacky and, well, cartoonish. But once you incorporate blood, it becomes real. The stabbing accomplishes the exact same thing. If not more so. Nose bleeds and a bloody lip have started to become common in kid shows. But someone being run through is shocking. Even kids know that isn't meant to happen. Stabbing someone could be effectively worse than blood.
It’s also a common theory that they were going to make the crew change it but after the leaks they couldn’t because we already knew how it was supposed to end.
This season finale caused quite the commotion in the fandom when it first aired due to leaks and Marcy getting stabbed. But it is still one of the most beloved in the fandom with the only episode arguably more beloved being the series finale.
That was an amazing reaction. Yeah, this episode was insane. It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Marcy's horrified expression, King Andrias gleefully breaking up her friendships and enjoying every moment of it, her desperate plea to Anne and Sasha; Anne's reaction when she believed Sprig died, her transformation and the music behind it; Andrias stabbing Marcy through her chest; Marcy, who believed Andrias was her friend and who she trusted with all her heart, but instead he cruelly betrayed her. When I first saw these parts I was in tears. I'll never forget Marcy's expressions in this episode, and I cried when she said "I'm sorry...for everything."
I always thought no villain could be worse than Belos/Philip from the Owl House, but this episode proved me wrong. I love how they are both amazing villains, but after seeing what Andrias did in this episode it made me angry and emotional all over again.
I look forward to your reaction to the third season. Thank you for letting us experience this journey with you. Amphibia and The Owl House are often called sister shows, and this ending (ending up in the human world) is one of the reasons for it.
Man, oh man! First time I saw this finale, I was taken for an emotional rollercoaster ride. The battles, the betrayals, the plot twists, the power-ups, and the intense turn of events (which took my breath away in the biggest way possible). Everything about this finale is incredible, the best of S2 imo!
This one episode has enough twists to make M. Night Shayamalan jealous. Now get ready for Earth Season a.k.a. What The Owl House Season 3 Could've Been.

15 likesI have been looking forward to this.
10 likesWhen first watching the episode, I expected a lot of backstabbing, but not as literal as it actually happened.
I can safely say that when I first started watching Amphibia, I didn't expect anything like this episode to happen.

Yeah. All three of the girls were at fault in different ways, via theft, betrayal, and kidnapping.
