In my opinion, Applejack and Rarity are the most hard-working in the group. Applejack runs a large freaking farm and Rarity has multiple fashion businesses. Fluttershy takes care of the sanctuary, Pinkie Bakes, Rainbow Dash trains with Wonderbolt, and Twilight does princess stuff.
I forgot to mention "Spike At Your Service" Spike - "What if there are things that Apple Jack needs help with that she doesn't even realize she needs help with?" Three seasons later: this episode.
The whole point of this episode is that it can often be well worth getting another perspective on things, because it can honestly be easy to inadvertantly get stuck in the rut of "this is how it's always been done" and/or being unable to see past your own routine to understand where it could be improved upon. That kind of challenge is one that far more people face than many may realize. Sure, they use some over-the-top examples of it in the episode, but it is a cartoon, so...
A very amusing episode with a lesson totally unfit for children. The episode shows that Appeljack is stuck in a rut, blinded by routine... something that consulting firms are always on the lookout when evaluating a company's performance. This lesson would make someone from the HR department applaud.
Josh Blackwell I think it's entertaining, but Applejack was really shown at her weakest here. One of my least favourites of the season, but I've grown to like it for the entertainment value.
I don't know why Rainbow Dash would think steam rooms are froufrou, Sweat lodges as native Americans call them are thought to be a intense and spiritual experience.
This episode is kind of an oddball in the series because it doesn't exactly have a moral. The message communicated through this episode is more of a life hack.
I don't know why Twilight goes to Applejack for her pies Pinkie pie's job is baking so why wouldn't she go to her nor do I know why an apple farm would have pigs for that matter what would ponies even do with pigs they don't eat meat,I suppose they could use their skin for parchment what they do with all the meat though.
I found this episode to be boring. So much fills like it is just running the time. Applejack comes off as kind of stupid. Rainbow Dash being shy about being a little girly is okay.
You know the funniest thing about applejack doing the chicken dance is realizing that at some point twilight did this as well off screen
