I almost cried when you started explaining the story behind this song. It sounds so wonderful to just be happy like this, it makes me so glad that you got to experience it.

maybe it's just me but even though i would love to hear a longer version of this, something about it being just a quick snippet, a moment in time feels so right to me. it fills me with a nostalgic glow just long enough for me to bask in the feeling before it ends and i'm reminded of how fleeting moments like this really are. that's all that it is, a moment. it almost adds a sense of longing to the song, a longing for it to be more than just a ephemeral moment in time, for it to be something unfading, something tangible, something eternal, but never being quite able to grasp it in my hands for more than a few seconds.

This is frigin beautiful and I should be asleep right now but I had to comment how wonderful this demo was and how much it made me wish for a moment like that.
