My thoughts on the movie, it was really entertaining. A great video game film with a fun cast of characters, including Jim Carrey as Robotnik, who did an amazing performance! It was great to know that this film was successful enough for a sequel too, which by the way is much better than the first imo.

Been playing the original games as a little kid back in the 90s on the old Sega Genesis. Now for a live action film starring James Marsden as Sonic’s human companion and Jim Carrey as villain Dr. Robotnik? What a film! When the sequel releases, hope that’s next for you!

It seems he also has a penchant for costarring with animated characters in some of these past roles.

Ah yes, Sonic goes on a road trip with Hitch from MLP G5 (probably a coincidence that he's a sheriff in both movies). And a naked intro video as a bonus! Also, I believe that Sonic is canonically 16 years old.
We haven’t had very good video game films in the past, but all that changed since we got Pokémon Detective Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog. To think that fans got really upset because of the initial design of Sonic that the creators pushed back the film the improve Sonic’s design to be less nightmarish, so to speak. I’m glad that they pulled it off though because this film was well-received after that incident.
I think this is the one instance where the filmmakers actually listened to we the fans over how awful that initial design was of Sonic. I believe there was a fan petition to demand a redesign and it worked. I should know, I was among the millions that signed that petition too.
I’ve watched turning red with Ladix for a duo reaction, it’s on my patreon but it’s free for anyone to watch. You don’t have to pay anything, it’s there if you want to check it out.
