It also works in the Run dialog box. Win + R, then run any command you want, given that the command is an executable in the \Windows directory, like taskkill.exe is present in System32.
Do you know what will happen if u install windows 10 on a PC, Copy the Windows folder from C:/ Drive to a USB (Or any storage) and install Windows 7 again then try replacing the Win 7's Windows folder to that of Win 10? Would it work??

I got infected by a trojan disguised as "Kaspersky Antivirus" the weirdest thing is i got the installer from their official website. After i turned off my pc i went to go eat dinner when i came back and turned it on my screen went black after a couple secs it showed me desktop icons but no pngs on them just blank apps then it said my cortana is in use after a while it said my c drive got corrupted. that was truly traumatizing experience. Good thing my older brother deleted it before it could cause more damage after deletion my files are back and everything looked normal but theres 1 file i cant open its called mstemp folder it says i have no permissions. @@CarterHax You don't need to be a programmer to use cmd, it's fairly simple. Type "help | more" without quotes for a list of commands and append /? to a command to get detailed help on it. Some common commands: dir - lists files and directories cd foo - goes to directory foo cd .. - goes to parent directory del - removes file copy foo.txt bar.txt - copies file "foo.txt" to "bar.txt" type foo.txt - prints the content of foo.txt exit - exits prompt shutdown /s /t 0 - shutdown shutdown /r /t 0 - reboot And if you're going to install Ubuntu, you should learn Linux terminal too, it's a bit different but still not really hard.

if you create a shared folder between your actual pc and the VM that can be written to by the VM yes you can easily get malware onto your pc but if you don't have any of those bridges (and set up your VM's internet connection to be a completely different IP address) it's basically impossible for the malware to escape the VMS "sandbox"

I know the company which has totalh.net, I used the free hosting service to host a blog website and a prank website to annoy my classmates and I also hosted it on totalh.net domain name. And they zipped the installer, as they don't allow EXEs to be uploaded. I have since switched to having a server at home and a dynamic DNS service from my ISP.
Did some research with Total Antivirus, strangely, it keep sending a huge data to specific IP (over 100+MB a day, and i can't tell what data it is since it's encrypted), and this fake AV run child process that consume RAM and Processor a lot (dunno what child process it is, maybe miner)
I've always known to not install untrusted exe but few days ago i did and some programs were using an insane amout of CPU and they would always come back even if i deleted them. Thank god i downloaded malwarebytes and now they're gone. That program is awesome i suggest you use it.

The viruses explained by Enderman only for educational purposes only. You need a virtual machine like VMWare or VirtualBox to execute it and don't use real PC.

It tricks you because the free trial actually legit works, and tries to convince you to buy Pro or uninstall. I had a nightmare about getting a virus.. It was named Total Virus. Basically it sends TONS OF ADWARE. And in safe mode you still cannot escape. It gives you 5 minutes. It does not let you fix anything. If you click on the settings your PC gets a red screen of death saying: ;) Your PC has BSOD! Try fixing your PC another way! Then the virus evolved into a real virus. There were zombies everywhere. We all had guns. I practiced a bit and did it. THE END.
I got a fake antivirus ad before watching this. It went on to say how I have all my personal info leaked and if I don’t install it will be spread. Blackmail in YouTube ads, that’s nice.

I got infected by a trojan disguised as "Kaspersky Antivirus" the weirdest thing is i got the installer from their official website. After i turned off my pc i went to go eat dinner when i came back and turned it on my screen went black after a couple secs it showed me desktop icons but no pngs on them just blank apps then it said my cortana is in use after a while it said my c drive got corrupted. that was truly traumatizing experience. Good thing my older brother deleted it before it could cause more damage after deletion my files are back and everything looked normal but theres 1 file i cant open its called mstemp folder it says i have no permissions. Please help

0 likes@@CarterHax You don't need to be a programmer to use cmd, it's fairly simple. Type "help | more" without quotes for a list of commands and append /? to a command to get detailed help on it.

And if you're going to install Ubuntu, you should learn Linux terminal too, it's a bit different but still not really hard.

I know a lot about tech (sorry if I'm bragging) but cant use cmd prompt because I dont know coding so yeah... also if i want to install bad malware on a vm, i setup the vm, dont want to even if i have antivirus, i have emsisoft, and I dont have much storage really or ram, I dont wanna max my memory out because crucial said my pc will run slow as heck, so yeah, sure I might do something, like, installing ubuntu or maybe windows 7 but whatever

if you create a shared folder between your actual pc and the VM that can be written to by the VM yes you can easily get malware onto your pc but if you don't have any of those bridges (and set up your VM's internet connection to be a completely different IP address) it's basically impossible for the malware to escape the VMS "sandbox"
