Hey, brother! Great reaction! I don’t know how long ago you recorded this redirect, but I’m sure I changed my name on Patreon to my YouTube nickname (Legendary Memer). If you are fine with that, I would like you to call me by my nick rather than my actual name - Yaroslav, (btw ty for pronouncing in correctly first try!) So you can just shout out “Legendary Memer” instead. I just feel like I’ve done not that much to deserve my real name being shouted out. Plus I’m still more comfortable with my nickname!) Hope you understand. Stay safe, we are strong together!
Yeah I recorded this and the next redirect back when I first started the patreon and you hadn’t changed your username, I’ll do your nickname in the future.
Hmm, it's called The Painted Lady, but it's largely about muddy water... Now this is a conundrum... Do I make a comment about bodypainting or mud wrestling? :P
TECHNICALLY, no. Only Sokka and Katara are. Aang and Toph aren't even teenagers yet, both being 12. (we doesn't count 100 year stasis here for should-be-obvious reasons)
It was not a bad episode but I always found the writing in this one a bit awkward. It felt rushed and we kept moving from one scene into the other. I did like how we got to see more Fire Nation citizens, and how even they are being oppressed by their leaders. My favorite scenes were when Sokka let go of his schedule and helped Katara, and the performance scene with Katara as the Painted Lady. I liked how Sokka defended his sister at the end from the villagers. Sokka always has been the organizer/treasurer/map reader member of the group, but it's becoming more obvious now because he has a responsibility of bringing everyone to the agreed location on time. (The others would get hopelessly lost without him)
The only thing I personally didn't like was Aang's reaction when he found out it was Katara. Of course he would help her, but she still lied to the group and about Appa being sick. Aang brushed off the Appa part too easily IMO.
Sorry for the wall of text. What I really wanted to say is that I enjoyed your reaction, and I'm glad you enjoyed the episode. I agree it was a fun episode, and it's nice to see the gang together in adventures like these.
The next episode is also one of my favorites. I look forward to see your reaction. I'm going to watch Brotherhood this weekend.
15:20 "Bro, can people lavabend?"
3 likesIf any of them could, it would be Toph. Lava is liquid rock (above ground; magma is liquid rock beneath the surface)
Hey Pony Bro! Hope you are doing well and as always thanks for the Avatar reactions. Stay cool man!
2 likesI loved this show so much I'm glad you're reacting to it man. Sorry I'm a little late on your reaction videos.
1 likeRiver spirits in particular always appear to look quite majestic in fiction.
1 likeFunny episode too involving Katara masquerading as this Painted Lady.
