@Stephen Lee It depends what kind of music are you into. The original has more of the chaotic vibe in it, you don't know what the heck will play. The tomb's remix is really predictable and not so fun if you hear it overandoveranover again. BUuUt. His remix is more energetic and fits into many more situations.

@Samantha Brummett​ you may not remember this because it was a really long time ago, but I was a brony back then and Discord first came out on the LivingTombstone's channel making the original song belong to him. Soon after it's release it was remixed by Eurobeat brony.

@Raspberries Rrandom Um, actually TlT says "remix" and credited the original version in his first, original post of the video, and verbally says it any time he's asked - it's just that the original post of the song doesn't exist anymore. For some reason. This is a huge misconception both people have been working very hard to stop, and frankly TlT wasn't even the first remix so I have no idea where you get the idea his is the original. It's just that his video is more popular, while Eurobeat brony, who I might add posted within a few weeks of the actual release date for the season 2 premiere, just was unlucky. His video was first, and there's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

On Eurobeat Brony's channel is a video which is dated the day after the season 2 premiere that contains his original thoughts on beat, and was originally a private video. Don't believe my comment, just go watch that. The fandom still makes things this fast, there were animations and art and comics of Moondancer and the Tantibus online before these episodes even ended :P This is just the way things work, sorry to break it to you

YouTube is the place all the worst people in the fandom go. I'm sorry if this comes off a little rude, but... I'm a little mad anyone thinks that way. If you want to base your opinion off MLP forums, fanart, FiM fiction, comments in Equestria Daily, what the analysis community does, and so many other things fine. There really ARE bad things the fa dim does... there are bad things ANY group of people does, especially one this large. It's just life! But youtube comments?! Youtube comments that point out basic facts? Facts you can go look at right now? Facts people I have talked to, who were ALSO bronies back then, pointed out to me, which is why I know the Discord song exists inthe first place?! This comment you put here doesn't really make sense...?

There are 10 million + bronies. Not all of them are good people, in fact there are probably several hundred thousand, and most of the bad people are the same ones who are most vocal on a comment section. And deviantart, and are at least SOMEWHERE in any major community like fanfiction or analysis. If you have the VERY basic Internet knowledge to look past A COMMENT SECTION, there are millions of very nice people who have taken the show to heart. The fact that MLP charities exist, regardless of their quality, is huge.

I was personally just trying to be nice and explain the Discord song's release. I'm angry now because the comment you're mad at is a comment that was genuinely trying to help you. I was genuinely pointing out evidence that you were wrong, and that's not something you should take as "I am trying to attack you"... No, I was literally just saying "hey dude, sorry to break it to you but you're wrong." If you take THAT as a cue to leave, and let THAT sort of thing destroy your genuine interest in a wonderful show and caring and lovable crazy group of people, maybe YOU'RE one of the people who should leave.

Just know it isn't you.

Your enjoyment of the show isn't the same thing as your enjoyment of its fans. I personally am a big fanatic about Dr. Who, Steven Universe, Marvel and a lot of other huge fan shows but bronies are really the first time I've ever liked the fans themselves, and their vibrantly eccentric and fun fan works. You're not obligated to both watch the show AND be a brony, necessarily. If you don't like being a brony, then just don't be one. You can just stop reading here, I respect that completely.

I've only been actively involved in the community since episode 100, although I was technically part of the fandom before then. My problem was that I never took the time to look past a comment section to take a look at the people beyond it. (Also it's hard to be active online before you're 18 with overprotective parents, even though I looked at a whole lot of content.) If it's community or friends you're looking for, a good place to start is (apparrently) the MLP forums... not that I've ever been there. There's also the meeting locations, which seem the better option. You tend to get much nicer responses on Equestria Daily than youtube, and every evening and morning there's a discussion page. There are other places to go but I don't know any, you'd have to ask other people.

Literally every single youtuber I have responded to in relation to one of their negative comments, especially within the Brony community, are the same people I comment to on beneath other videos. There's this one REALLY vocal guy, "Ben N Nuts (BNuts)", who seems determined to be as abrasive as possible. The same thing goes for good, helpful commentators - almost every comment I've seen left by a nice person on a brony video is typically the same brony I see on another channel. 90% of people who watch a video are like I was before episode 100 - too shy to say anything either way. (Or they just don't care about youtube's nonsense. Or don't read the comments.)

This community - the Brony youtube subscriber community - is only about 100K strong right now. We the bronies count over 10 million, yet even Silver Quill's videos tend to only count around 100-200K confirmed views. There are plenty of other places to go for different groups of people than this. I just like brony reviewers and their pointlessly over-analytic thoughts. A whole video on what kind of fabric Rarity uses? Does the show actually go that deep?! Somebody sure seems to think it does XD

I regularly hear stories of this community's supportive and loving side, and how they try to excise anyone who isn't caring and supportive from their circles. I hear stories of how groups will try and reform a bully, and very often succeed. The analysis community is in a tizzy right now because Brony Curious (their founder, in their eyes) rage quit a short while back and they're all arguing over how to handle it. Friendships have been lost because this one guy didn't realize how many people cared about his opinions. They're not really a shining example right now. If you really DO want to find the good people in this fandom, you chose to do so at an inopportune time. I'd urge you to look past basically anything in youtube right now, even old comments sections, look past Equestria Daily, and do some work on your own. I know it'll be worth it.

I enjoy this fandom, and respect the people in it, I know first hand how hard it is to come out and be honest with the world about a show that is hard to understand why people like it until you watch it yourself. I have been watching this show since before it got popular, before its first season was over. In my first year of middle school, I talked a friend into stopping from being a hater and even got others interested too. Along with that I hand drew, up to 30 ponies from the show and hung them up around the school, classrooms, hallways, just about every where you would look you could find a pony somewhere. Soon people in my grade ran to this reformed hater friend I had and said it was her hanging them up. They soon found the truth and that's when all the bulling started, to my brothers, my friends and anyone who got close.
Over the next 2 years I wrote in journals, and recorded every single incident that occurred. Soon in the bullies moved away, one by one and I stopped parading the fact that I was a brony. I wanted to get out of the friendship I had with my friend the whole time because some of the things she did caused so much drama and she didn't treat me with a lot of respect for the fact I had been her friend for that long. I tried to get out of it but every single time I went to do it she guilt tripped me and made me feel like I was her only friend.
I couldn't get out, I felt trapped. For the last year of middle school I wanted to move on, get new friends, a new reputation, and a new life and no matter where I went she followed and so I couldn't move on. Now it's all over. I am moving on, next year is high school for me and I will not make the same mistakes. I haven't watched MLP in some time now and I think it's for the best for me to move past who I was before.
MLP has opened up many doors for me and closed many also, I gained many true friends and lost many others on the spot. Therefore I am proud to say I was a brony and will carry these lessons I have learned with me for a long time.
Just a question, should I remain in this fandom or leave? How can I let go but hold on?

Nope, I mean the one by Odyssey Eurobeat. The Living Tombstone's remix has too much bass for my liking. Some of your earlier stuff is like that but I like most of your remixes. Hearts as Strong as Horses and True True Friend are your best in my opinion. And after listening to many other remixes of them I prefer your.

I would say calling it even so much as "stupid" is a bit extreme. I would say that the worst part about the song is how people put it on a pedestal and seem to disproportionately gush over it, speaking as someone who likes the song. I would also add how part of that problem could be how some people shove it into others faces where it is not wanted. Of course, I didn't say anything.
