Moral of the story: Don't trust stangers unless you know who they are, inviting random players into a server or base is always a risk. You can never be sure who da hell is behind a virtual account. Second moral: vanilla mc has many flaws that can be easly exploided by a hacked client. Unless the admin runs Paper or has restrictive plugins, it soon turns from a vanilla smp to a anarchy within hours. As for the video it was actually fun to watch.
I kind of feel bad, but if they didnt have server backups for something that big they'd be stupid. They should be able to restore it I think. Maybe next server, build a lag machine. That'd be very entertaining to watch

I wanna share my own story from when I griefed some kid about 2 years ago
So I was in a ps4 community and I joined a random world, there were 4 other people in it, I quickly started mining as I wanted to gear up to grief the shit out of these guys because they were afk and had diamond armour
There town that they built was huge but it was made almost completely out of wood so I burnt down every single house in my path and destroyed their chests (burning the items in them too) eventually I came across this one chest filled to the brim with tnt, I didn't hesitate to replace their town with a giant crater
I also got their dragon egg too and burnt it
I think its safe to say they stopped playing on that server when they came back to find their town they spent hours working on and their precious dragon egg was replaced by a giant crater.

Lavacasting is extremely slow with the time limit we had. They found out we griefed it just a few mins after we finished. We would of been caught durring the grief if we lavacasted.
