Retail games with Steam key are cheaper than the games on Steam sale. I loved Valve but all they care about now is money. Their innovations sucks (Steam OS, Steam Machines, etc), no word about any new game from Valve. All they care about is Steam store and market.
But I can see teenagers who experience Steam and their popular games like CS:GO or Dota 2 for the first time in their life, they might see these sales as something 'cool' and as an opportuninty to get some games cheaper but remember folks, discount on the games were much bigger than this. Many of us bought games which we never played or installed.
