xLukasSnow I’m just gonna say this now, please don’t use parrot or kali they are awful since they have so many tools you don’t need and they are NOT for beginners please just use a vm when using kali (thats what virtualization is for) or if you want an light weight os you can just install ubuntu or manjaro or debian or even arch (hard)(with like 5 packages and your good)! So dont use Unless you use all 300 kali tools... and also this crypto guy has been spreading a lot of false information. Ex: “your network has been compromised with this device that intercepts all packets” I think he forgot about https
TL;DR dont use kali or parrot(virtualize it) too many tools use something like debian and dont listen to this guy
Edit: dont get me wrong his laptop recommendations are really good and kali linux isnt awful but it just has toooo much software you dont know what you even have and parrot os is ok but it isnt my favorite when I can just make my own pentesting os with arch(which is my choice of linux)
Im a freshmen of Computer Science, I got Network Fundamentals class which is kinda complicated to me. Love your contents although Im not sure I completely understand all of them. Keep it up sir
This guy is correct.i5 8gen and 8gb ram is the correct thing I can say after being a pen tester for a year.Amazing content.I have a new Cybersecurity channel too. Will be glad if you can check it out😊✌🏻
@Gordo Quata it totally depends on your budget.Go for at least i5 8gen processor or ryzen 5 processor and 8 gb ram minimum.Having a good GPU helps in password cracking with hashcat.Anything above this is great.
@TAXLO yes asus laptops are great.I had bought mine at 45,000 INR however currently the price of all laptops has increased. If it fits your budget,Go for it it's good!
Yes I love Lenovo, they treat me so well as a customer too. I always recommend them.

I'm now realizing that ethical hacking isn't hacking into mega corporations and redistributing their money or deleting entire right-wing networks. It's just breaking into security systems and then telling them what they could do better. 😔
Is it a bad idea to use my gaming laptop and use a virtual box kali? If it is do you recommend dual boot/ WLS or will I have to use a different computer?
t440p with i7 4910mq 8gigs or more ram and a ssd. Also, upgrade the panel to ips. this is only if you r real low like 200$ 300$. buy new storage and salvage the old os key from it and throw or sell the hdd. also optical drive can be swapped for ssd
Buy Dell precision 5510 used from ebay it will cost 4 to 5 hundred $. Or if u using for vm multiple os go for 5520 model it support uptown 64gig ram.. both are dirt cheap in used..
@Ruslan Yakushev By attack vector I mean you use it as a platform to launch attacks from. My definition of attack vector isnt the generally accepted one, this is just my own way of thinking. As an attack platform its good becayse its cheap and can be ditched if needed as well as you can have a bunch of SD cards and change its function entirely. For me I run a pi through mobaXterm with vnc. As for testing its fairly obvious how beneficial it may be to test unknown software or your own scripts on a system that isnt very valuable and that can remain in place and be controlled from elsewhere and shared files from my own machine. I do know that virtualbox and vmware are a thing, I just prefer to use MobaXterm as it makes connecting with mutliple pis easy instead of just running one virtual machine thats eating up resources. Though you can manage how much it uses.
@Ruslan Yakushev VNC piggybacks off of SSH. The issue is you need to somehow connect your pi to a network so you can actually ssh into it, which is hard to do if you dont have a way to control it. For me I have my pi auto connect to the network created by my thinkpads second antenna. Then I can ssh into it and see its desktop using vnc.
Bro which Lenovo laptop are you using... I am talking about the laptop on which you are showing us the picture of all kali linux and parrot os... What's the full name of that Lenovo laptop
.. I watched a story of this channel that said, 'you are hacked if your network is connected with that device.' Can anyone please tell me the name of that device? Please. ..
@Filip I had to upgrade the ram to 8gb and fortunately it had ubuntu pre-installed but replaced with arch. I had to set the cpu governer to performance but sometimes the fan noise gets crazy high if cpu intensive(/memory leaked)processes run on it
My advice: just get what you can afford, doing enough research for your budget will help out greatly. Don’t get anything with a nvidia gpu as you will more than likely be running a Linux distribution and nvidia will run very poorly as those cards are not designed with Linux in mind.
Your own brain and a keyboard. Dont buy tools, learn how to code and research, explore sites like Hack The Box. Learn everything about Windows Systems and move onto Linux Systems. Pick a programming language and start developing your own tools. Eventually youll know enough to understand the protocols and concepts behind the tools out there and then you can start buying them.
@Anonymous Secure No one should use metasploit unless they are exploiting vulnerabilities And while this is a form of hacking, you should still learn the basics first as it is difficult to understand what you are exploiting or the effects of said exploit without a foundation. Learn the basics first, that being Windows then Linux and then pick a programming language.
