Ok...that was...(shakily) interesting? The editing was great, as well as the script, but it has most likely messed with some minds during watching. I mean, if a young child were to find this...anyway great job as usual.
I mean really, the script is on (maybe above) par with what UFP or Scootertrix Abridged has, and the editing is a little better. Really big props to the creators, (please don't take this the wrong way).
I've been doing research and a little digging, and I think I found something quite interesting. Looking back on your earlier work (specifically here at around 5:50) I've discovered that all of your characters are to some extent aware of the fourth wall. The dialogue they use is too specific to be a coincidence or explained away by "oh they really meant this". They actually (offhoofedly) acknowledge the real MLP universe and consider some actions to be canon and non-canon to it. And it's not just a parallel universe thing, the way they talk makes it seem they know they are on a show (words like scene, song, parody, canon, etc.)
So where does that put you in relation to the Scootertrix universe as far as fourth walls go? Can your Pinkie really break the fourth wall and she was just playing dumb in the caves when the other Pinkie asked her about it? That seems quite possible giving the element's "training". I know I'm overthinking this, but you haven't failed me yet when it comes to explaining this stuff.

And wouldn't their creator essentially be God to them? The one that drew them, created their personalities, decided what situations would come their way and how they would handle them?
The 4th wall can be more than a silly joke. The 4th wall is a scary thing. Jack's Scootertrix series is one of the only things I know of that gives the 4th wall the weight the concept truly deserves, and I highly respect him for that.
When Jack and I met, we talked a lot about our series. He's even told me the ending to Scootertrix. And it just so happens, that once upon a time, Scootertrix the Abridged and Friendship is for Adults had very similar endings. The Kanterlot team decided on a new ending just before we met Jack.
The reason why this is relevant, is because the original finale of fifa would have greatly involved the 4th wall. It would have been met with much of the same shock that Scootertrix's Twilight experienced when she learned of the 4th.
I think it's better that we changed that ending because, as you've stated, in these episodes, our characters can break the 4th but it's not a big deal. All of a sudden it would have been a big deal in our finale, which overall would have felt very out of place.
So, do our characters breaking the 4th actually mean anything, as it does in Scootertrix? No. But it is an interesting thing to talk about, and understand that at one point, we were going to end on something similar to what Jack's series is based around.

It had some great story telling and character development too. We feel like what we were going for would have been in bad taste, and we found something that we thought was a funnier personality quirk.
It would actually need to be changed if we redid this episode.
