Trust me when I say that your Allegrezza theme is one of my favorite fan made MLP themes OF ALL TIME, so there's nothing wrong with experimenting from time to time. Don't focus too much on just making "good" music, write whatever comes to mind. Who knows, maybe you'll hit a jackpot like that again. You have good taste in music for having Birth Of A Penguin from the Batman Returns soundtrack as the inspiration for this song and yes the Batman Returns soundtrack is one of the greatest soundtracks ever made

So subtle and soft, some of the quiet parts could be a little louder though, just to level it a bit would be cool.

If you've got and eye for detail, then you've got talent that's simply locked. I don't make music, but I can hear and fix the flaws. I thought I'd never be able to draw because I could never get the image from my head onto the page, but then I worked on something simple. Start with an eye and perfect it, then move on to the other facial features. That's how you learn to draw well. (I still refuse to draw pegasi, though, because wings are a pain in the arse)
I only read through the story rather quickly earlier today, but I do think that you nailed it with this music. Not only is it a fine piece on its own, but it also has a certain character to it, like it embodies the very story and its main protagonists struggles. In many ways I actually think this is a better fanfic theme than your Allegrezza theme. You really have improved yourself greatly over the past few months.

Oh dude I didn't reference any of Chopin's work lol. I'm not a very avid listener of classical music and certainly not piano solos. I am merely a film score type of musician ^^;
