Nintendo 3DS System Applications OST

Changes from previous rip:
- Overhauled rip, now featuring 48khz Sample Rate.
- Reverb is more faithfully recreated.
- Added a couple more tracks, more jingles and banner sounds.
- Renamed some tracks.
- Fixed 'year' tag for Amiibo Settings.
- Removed the track of Nintendo Network ID Settings, where only the box sounds plays.
- Removed eShop test track since it is only there for testing loop points (It plays for a few milliseconds).

Unpopular opinion: The 3DS is the best handheld console Nintendo has ever made.

i'd give anything to go back to the year the 3ds came out. i don't remember where i went to get my 3ds, but i remember the experience i had unboxing it.

The beginning of the video sounds like a memorial tribute to the 3DS era. I had my good times with it, it will be heavily missed. I still remember back in 2010 when the first trailers for the 3DS were revealed at E3. I remember being 11 years old at the time and excited for this new portable console. I remember I wanted to experience the 3D on the 3DS with my own eyes so bad. Looking at videos of the 3D effect isn't the same as with your own eyes. The 3DS was ahead of its time in terms of its 3D effect. I still believe that the 3DS was taken away too soon. From 2011-2020, but we all know that the 3DS truly died in 2017 when the Switch was released because that became the new portable console. The switch may be great in a lot of ways, but it will never truly have that nostalgia feeling due to the lack of UI details such as menu music, sophisticated software, drawing/note options, Miiverse, Mii app, etc. To me, the switch is just memorable in terms of having fun with the games it came with, but I can't feel any memorable moments from its menu due to how simplistic it is. The only thing that I can think of that will be nostalgic from the switch will be it's button sounds and triggering effects when making selections. RIP 3DS, you were more memorable in my childhood than the DS and Wii.

i remember staying at my grandparents' house blissfully playing the time away on my 3ds while snacking on candy and all that good stuff... these tracks are very near and dear to me

words cannot describe how much the 3ds music means to me. i've had my 3ds for what feels like forever now and it still brings me joy to this day. even by the time everything on it shuts down, i'll still forever appreciate the great memories my 3ds has given me.

my personal favourite 3DS console. I was born in 2005 so it was a perfect time to enjoy all of the DS's library and all the new 3DS games which were coming out at the time

As someone who only owned the New 3DS models, I was surprised at 17:29 by how the Health & Safety Information app actually has a full song. I first thought it was unused but it actually turns out that the song only appears in the original 3DS models, hence why there's nothing in the more recent ones

If I could suggest one thing, it might be to have a composite of the DS and DSi banner sounds, which I think play over each other as the banner for a DSi game

I'd like to appreciate the effort that you put into these high-quality rips of music!
It's also pretty interesting to hear some things that you don't usually hear or that go unused--most channels don't upload such things and sometimes they are tricky to manually rip.

This is why the 3DS and Wii U are better than the switch, not because of the games, but just everything it had. Built in games, a fucking camera, and a lot of music everywhere you went. Man, the memories make me wanna cry, it’s been so long yet it feels like yesterday.

would you mind if i made a slowed /reverbed version of this compilation (you will ofcourse be credited) ? i personally started gaming on the 3ds when i was a little kid and hearing some of these almost made me cry :3 i just recently picked up my old 3DS and homebrewed it so i could experience some of the games i did not own when i was younger.

When I was 6 I got my first console (which was a 2DS) and playing HOURS bad underground games that my mother's friend gave to me as a birthday gift, I also played with RA cards. Some games got stolen, some were bought and others were a gift. Now I'm 15 and next year I'll work at the restaurant my mother works at and I still have my console with all the games and cards
