Loved this! It was a great update. You do have a good attitude, sometimes even when it's good things your busy with it can still be overwhelming. I was so busy when I was doing my GCSEs but now I've left secondary school I've got nothing to do all summer! I've started to do loads of volunteering, at a primary school and a charity shop - I'd reccomend that to anyone who has nothing to do because you can gain so much from it! :)

Definitely a helpful reminder today. I am job hunting and flat hunting and it's all a lot, especially during covid times and writing cover letters, creating a website, editing photos for that website. Trying to do things to help present and future me, but also tired and not wanting things to be difficult lol. But I'm also excited to try and find a new job in the music industry. I'm happy that I'm finally making my photography website and I'm happy that I've managed to stop binge watching Netflix constantly as it was making me feel bad that I wasn't getting important things done. I can't wait to get these big things done as I know I'll be happy with my hard work, and then can start getting back to my to do lists and working on some smaller things haha. In the months of may and june i have, gone to TATINOF, gone to florida, had exams, gone to a leadership camp, gone to an arts camp. had my 15th birthday, gone to an anime convention, seen a musical, performed in my school band, made a cosplay, planned 2 more cosplays and done the first draft of my first short film on top of school and I was starting to lose my energy but this reminds me of how much dang fun i'm having I love this!
They build a loft bed. And when they break up, which they most definitely will, the loft bed starts to break. Because they were so caught up in love they forgot they couldn't build. And tbh the loft bed was shitty in the first place.

I wish I was busier. I go to school for 3 hours at most everyday, my family are in work or school I never feel like drawing or reading or doing anything. I really understand how you are feeling Dodie! I am in 5 ensembles at school that means i have to get up super early for rehearsal and stay back at school late most days. I hardly have any lunch times free because I'm either at music, running my Club for Whovians and all other nerds or trying to do assignments that I havent had time for! I also have Ice skating lessons and two music lessons on Saturdays, then my tutor comes and then i do all my homework and study then BAM! Its Monday again! Argh! I feel your business Dodie. You DO realize that on tour you can...space-out...your appearances, right?? Add a day or two in-between...for nothing! So you can BREATHE!. And DON'T commit commit commit to project after project after project. For myself, a rule of thumb: 2 projects at a time. Really. 3. Great video (see #1). You are adorable as ever. Now...relax, girl! Maybe this is just the theatre kid in me, but the formation of the notes and the chords progressions, (and maybe the acting was a contributing factor, but the this song seemed very musical theatre AND I LOVED IT.

Ahh! This song was so good! As someone who has had a chance to not be busy I will say that being busy is better in my opinion than not being busy. If I'm not busy I start to feel like I'm not doing anything with my life, and that I'm wasting my time, but if I can keep busy I stop feeling that way. A break every now and then is nice though :)

I feel you on the busy thing Dodie. I'm enjoying a reasonably quiet moment after a mad 6 months. Trying to finish a degree and working 20 hours a week and trying to find time to apply for jobs and keep a social life has been mental. I slept for 11 hours last night because I finally had a day where I didn't have to work or meet people or do anything or go anywhere. It was great. This video sums up my life, i want to paint a portrait of 30x40 inches (76.2x101.6 centimeters) by the end of the summer (and I'm the worlds slowest painter), still post a art video a day, learn the rafiki part of the lion king because im going to be in the lion king as rafiki in a few weeks (this includes all the pronunciations in Swahili), i still have to make a Father's Day gift for my dad and we're celebrating it in an hour or two. I am job hunting and flat hunting and it's all a lot, especially during covid times and writing cover letters, creating a website, editing photos for that website. Trying to do things to help present and future me, but also tired and not wanting things to be difficult lol. But I'm also excited to try and find a new job in the music industry. I'm happy that I'm finally making my photography website and I'm happy that I've managed to stop binge watching Netflix constantly as it was making me feel bad that I wasn't getting important things done. I can't wait to get these big things done as I know I'll be happy with my hard work, and then can start getting back to my to do lists and working on some smaller things haha.
