Here's my guess as to how he did the effect at 0:14
He put himself on a green screen then did a little flip, and later recorded himself "getting impacted" by the pole IRL.

Great job, Storm! I'm thinking of getting into PRL videos myself. I'm really hoping someone can make a tutorial video for using motion tracking and lighting for Sony Vegas, since I'm guessing you prefer Adobe After Effects. I have a few ideas, like placing Rainbow Dash into Top Gun scenes. Remember when Maverick drove a bike and a jet took off in the background? Well, how about RD taking off instead? There's also the Equestria LA vlog idea, where ponies randomly show up at the convention.

I love this series! Keep making them, Storm.
