The more important question is: Why is twilight watching Pinkie through the window?

I know how it goes; when you just get this awesome idea, you tend not to sleep or eat until you've animated the whole thing, and the whole time you can just visualize it in your head perfectly. Then, you complete a video you'd normally think would take a week in just a few hours.

And this is how Cupcakes the Sequel starts.

Because who doesn't keep a mini-scythe in their kitchen drawer?

This video: essentially what I was thinking throughout the entire episode. Pinkie is amazing... and horrifying. Both at once. The fun has been doubled. Good show, nomorethan. Please continue to amaze us.

He could already guess the shape of the baby because of what was shown in "Mare Do Well". It is easy to animate all the stuff before it, without the exact look of Poundcake shown yet. After Poundcake was shown, the animation was already done, but he simply had to color the baby pony and add the mane to the one passing through the frame. I think he had been planning this the whole time.

What i'm so weirded out about this is that outside of the bags under Pinkie's eyes, there's not any real difference between this and the original show's art style... but the style of Pinkie's facial expressions are highly highly reminiscent of some other TV cartoon and i don't know what it is..

Altough I agree, this video was made insanely fast. The templates for this video were already there from epic pie/cupcake time (the kitchen and also the applejack bottle) so a few adjustments here and there and bam you've got yourself an epic pony vid!

I'm a girl and I enjoy the company of Bronies. They're awesome people that redefine what "manhood" is. The only reason they're frowned upon is because it's different. What you fail to realize is that what is for adults, for girls, for boys, and for kids is all interchangeable when it comes to cartoons. And you can't bash someone because they like something different than you. That's just stupid. They like the show for there reasons, just like you like what ever it is you like for yours.

@KwadDamyj (A) That's a sickle, not a scythe. Sickles were replaced by garden and pruning shears, just like scythes were replaced by lawn mowers and harvesters. (B) Certain large fruits, like watermelons, pineapples, cantaloupes and pumpkins, favour a deep, dragging cut. A sickle is far more appropriate for delivering this cut than a regular knife, specially if you need to deliver large volumes (like a bakery that churns out pumpkin cakes).

Second, the sunglasses have been appearing in Rainbow Dash fanworks since bronies came to exist. Third, the episode synopsis for this episode has been out for weeks now, so having the video waiting for a simplistic baby vector is easily believable.

@TheHumanNacho I wasn't referring to the rainbow juice, the glasses only came into existence with the first video, followed by lesson zero A WEEK LATER with the same design. Also the Zap Apples were in epic pie time which was released on the same day as Family Appreciation day. Also, do you know how long it takes to animate something, even something as simple as this. Pretty long. They'd have to know about the babies designs before starting the animation.
