Being a game player I know how frustrating it is to loss your files especially if you spent weeks or months on it only to have it disappear... The best thing you can do is remember that although you may never get back the hard work, effort and dedication you put in, you now have time to work on new things... Although it may work slightly differently for you especially when it comes to long term projects I think it still fits...

If you didn't delete the file, (just misplaced it) I would highly recommend you use the program “Agent Ransack” to search your entire computer. Search for “file contents” based on anything you can remember. I use it myself from time to time when a file isn't where it should be when I want to work on a piece of writing or to look at notes. It’ll use a ton of CPU while searching and may take a while but just let it run. Hope this helps! :) 💐💐 💐 HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS!!! 💐💐💐
