Otvaranje albuma je veličanstveno. Early Morning Hours je sjajan rez koji počinje polako i očarava slušatelja, Shawnovo potpisivanje, zrcali doista rane sate. Zlobno počinje s nekim psihodeličnim sintesajzerima, to nije jazz-funk zvuk, njegov privlačan i istovremeno glazbeno vrlo zanimljiv gotovo čudan u nekim bitovima završava s pravim dobrim džemom. Kakav luksuz! Vjerojatno najizazovnije akrobacije u njegovoj karijeri. Teže nego u Planiranom O ili u Naoružanom. Ima i indijanske (iz Indije) reminiscencije. To nikada nećeš zaboraviti.
Album presque parfait! Bya... The opening of the album is magnificent. Early Morning Hours is a great cut that starts slowly and enchants the listener, Shawn's signing, mirrors the really early hours. It viciously begins with some psychedelic synthesizers, it is not a jazz-funk sound, its catchy and at the same time musically very interesting almost strange in some bits ends with real good jam. What a luxury! Paul Buckmaster makes his only appearance on the organ on the album. The next Today song opens with a riff after Shawn's deep breathing. Soft guitar and catchy bass grow up with a soft voice that slowly gets taller. From the rhythms comes and the song captures a different angle that unleashes the voice of Shawn in incredible funny joyful vocals. Songs float in the crowd, from vocals and constructed explorations. It's a luxury again. From the album's cut, A Wailing wall, made in one shot: Guitar and Voice, Shawn is in his most incredible and solo notes in the middle in a crescend they've never heard before, never heard again. Probably the most challenging stunt of his career. Harder than planned O or armed. There are also Indian (from India) reminiscences. You'll never forget that. That song makes the difference between a 3-star album and a 4-star album and shows why the legend is on these dusty Rock and Roll roads. It's hard to have a cut to follow, but Hie Away has the perfect start with keyboard growth and guitar. But it's getting a little rough too fast just except for the tenderness of Shawn's voice. It slides into some rock-prog jazz funk with a sound a bit like Herbie Hancock . Al Wing's saxophone is great. Serependity peace leaves all the room for Peter Robinson's magnificent keyboards. His delicate touch and sense of space synthesizers once again reveal how gifted this musician is. It's a beautiful and joyful song that should have made it to the Wailing Wall in the running order. The last song that's the title is fantastic. Almost 8 minutes and it comes as hot summer rain. Peter Robinson's arrangements give remarkable coherence to that album and reveal that the Shawns never explore in the territory that way. The record is used to finish in a continuous circle of music that was great when it was supposed to be finished ! In fact, the music never stops and reflects the incessant talent that shawn had when you gave him full opportunities, control and choice. Almost perfect album! Bya... Ladislav&Zivanovic.............
