Un bonito disco de folk-rock que encaja perfectamente en ese molde, pero que no aporta nada nuevo al estilo y desde luego ya no a la originalidad. Las canciones son bastante cortas y estándar con buena habilidad musical, y a veces suntuosas armonías y melodías. La cantante tiene una voz típica en el molde de Maddy Prior de Steeleye, Sandy Denny de Fairport, Jacqui McShee de Pentangle y Celia Humphrys de Trees, pero la música aquí ciertamente no está a la par con los dos últimos grupos mencionados en esa lista. No me malinterpreten, este es un buen álbum agradable, pero nada especial y hay muchas otras bandas de folk-rock para explorar antes de cazar este, pero será una buena adición a su colección si usted está en ese estilo de música (y yo soy) Un álbum grabado que ningún fan debería perderse en folk / prog. Excelente muscianidad, aunque inicialmente puede ser tomado por mujeres que cantan, que son angelicales en canciones como, "Heaven Health" y "Sheep Season", (mi canción favorita), y luego rockear en canciones como, "Poet and Witch" y "Dan the Wing". Lijep folk-rock album koji se savršeno uklapa u taj kalup, ali ne donosi ništa novo u stil i sigurno više ne u originalnost. Pjesme su prilično kratke i standardne s dobrim glazbenim umijećem, a ponekad i raskošnim harmonijama i melodijama. Pjevačica ima tipičan glas u kalupu Maddy Prior iz Steeleyea, Sandy Denny iz Fairporta, Jacqui McShee iz Pentanglea i Celie Humphrys iz Treesa, ali glazba ovdje sigurno nije u rangu s posljednje dvije skupine spomenute na tom popisu. Nemojte me krivo shvatiti , ovo je fini ugodan album , ali ništa posebno i postoje mnogi drugi folk-rock bendovi koje treba istražiti prije lova na ovaj, ali to će biti dobar dodatak vašoj kolekciji ako ste u tom stilu glazbe ( a ja jesam ) Jedan snimljeni album koji nijedan obožavatelj ne smije propustiti u folk/prog. Prvih nekoliko pjesama ima vrlo moderan folk zvuk koji ne bi zvučao neumjesno na albumu Sarah McLachlan, vrhunski! Jedina pjesma koja to čuva od ocjene od pet zvjezdica je "Lonely Man" bluesy rocker koji zvuči zastarjelo i strši kao bolni palac. Jedna stvar koja mi se sviđa na ovom albumu je da se možete koncentrirati na pjevanje do kraja, a zatim ga ponovno svirati i samo slušati instrumente. Jednostavno ne postaje dosadno (kao neki folk albumi). To se uspoređuje s najboljim Steeleye Span, Lindisfarne i Fairport konvencijom. A nice folk-rock album that fits perfectly into that mold, but it doesn't bring anything new to style and certainly no longer to originality. The songs are quite short and standard with good musical skill, and sometimes sumptuous harmonies and melodies. The singer has a typical voice in the mould of Maddy Prior of Steeleye, Sandy Denny of Fairport, Jacqui McShee of Pentangle and Celia Humphrys of Trees, but the music here is certainly not on par with the last two groups mentioned on that list. Don't get me wrong , this is a fine pleasant album , but nothing special and there are many other folk-rock bands to explore before hunting for this one, but it will be a good addition to your collection if you are in that style of music ( and I am) One recorded album that no fan should miss in folk/prog. Excellent muscianity, although you might initially be taken by women who sing, who are angelic on songs like, "Heaven Health" and "Sheep Season," (my favorite song), and then rock on songs like, "Poet and Witch" and "Dan the Wing." The first few songs have a very modern folk sound that wouldn't sound out of place on Sarah McLachlan's album, superb!
