P.S.: I actually have one point of artistic critique: At 1:09 right before the transition, if Twilight quickly opened her glowing eyes there (using sped up original footage), with the BAM sound effect synched to that event and maybe a bit of quick zoom and a flash from the eyes overshining the whole screen, that would make that moment have even more impact.

The writing is good, although I don't like the modern theme mixed into it (and the conclusion was a bit hurried and crude), but maybe that canon-breakage makes it a bit less painful for the VAs to see it and worry about being replaced by AI soon. (AI tech is gonna teach us some very scary and painful lessons that we didn't want to learn from listening and pondering. ... Gradually we are replacing ourselves wholly.)
There is also the cynical aspect, though, of us becoming more like robots without needing technology for that, although it likely plays a part in it. In the AI speech I noticed a couple emphasis errors and such. But they might just be missing commas in the script or such, and also, before voice AI VAs have been making mistakes like that. (Probably because they were given lines without context, although sometimes it was hard to understand even then.)
BTW, the AI voice can still be identified as such from the sound of it, and that's actually good. Because, again, it is technology that fakes something. But there is also a karmic element in it regarding the system that all affected are engaging in. Plus, it is an open moral-legal discussion who owns your personal traits. In the case of faces this has already been kinda settled as needing permission. The same would likely apply to voice, especially if you use AI to try and generate a perfect copy (as opposed to natural imitation for satire or such). And the topic gets bigger when we consider there is AI being made to imitate your whole personality. I.e. eventually someone could impersonate you in a way that could possibly even fool your loved ones. It's like sci-fi dystopia, examined in Star Trek and such - being replaced by a perfect impersonator copy, and the struggle to spot it nonetheless, and the implications of it.
All this stuff is, at the root, just suvival fight. Deception as a strategy for 1-upping others. Using others' properties for own benefit. ... And not just the VA's properties by the video creator, but also using a writer's story and gathering lots of praise for the writing by merely audiovisualizing it. (A common thing in the industry ... Writers getting the short end of the stick.)
The story is actually conveying a spiritual lesson I try to convey a lot: Corruption is a grassroots movement. Is the author Blueshift from Manchester, by any chance?
P.S.: In the area of devoted fan projects worthy of the original... have you ever watched Star Trek Continues?

Aw man, that title sequence for MLP was awesome. And the way the VFX completely changed the scene was awesome. DHX should do more with VFX and create epic scenes like that!

I'm going to say that they equal bronies in art, animation, and writing at best (that is no insult). I've seen a good amount of both communities talents throughout the years, but whilst I am probably biased towards bronies, the anime fan base has got some really talented people too. Anything that is good will attract talented people to it and there are some VERY good animes out there. All one need do is mention the name Miyazaki to quell any argument to the contrary.
You know, if you want to leave the Hub and ei logos in the final product, at least mask them so that they don't jump around the frame whenever you use a screenshake effect.
Overlooking the easy stuff like that seriously mars the rest of the work you put into a video.

(I even have to use a trick to fool Win7 into not converting lossless wallpaper files to JPEG, because I can see the ugly compression artifacts.)
