I'm just imagining a sequence where there is some shadow sneakery montage going on while everyone is enjoying a festival. Festivals are some of the best times to sneak in to castles after all lol

Looooove it <3 <3 <3 Yes, fits the theme and depicts such a medieval town festival SO well! This is exactly the kind of OST tracks I tend to affectionate a lot. So many memories along the characters... <3 Amazing work! :) And that FF9 thumbnail fanart, haha XD I wonder if that's the same tavern in Lindblum's Industrial District where Zidan used to go and where he met Freya again. Nah, the street looks different. I loved that tavern a lot x3 I often relisten to the BGM that played there during that scene with Freya, it's one of my go-to songs for when I'm in the mood for medieval tavern music ^.^
Never played Chrono Cross, but I do remember the Deku Palace theme being an inspiration for this. I think you can hear it in the guitar/ cittern/ mandolin's strumming pattern.

Really? All I could imagine is that point in the game where's you're supposed to do something in town, but you're hopelessly lost, lol.

To be fair thats just a more well known one. LOTS of RPGs have had parts where you snuck in to a castle/base while a party was going on.

Sounds like the Deku Temple from Majora's Mask meets the Chrono Cross OST. ;D
