I'm not expecting you to respond, because I know you're busy with other stuff and I'm sure you don't have the time, but if you could answer my question that'd be great. (I didn't mean that to sound mean) I was wondering where you train, a gym, or no gym? I'm asking this because I'm sure that alot of people can't go to a gym and they have to train at home, and I'm one of those people. And another reason is that I'm just really curious. :) This comment sounds really weird to read.
No worries man, Actually. I've only just recently started gym training (two weeks ago). I've been to some gyms for parkour jams. but everything I've learned has been in either my backyard, or the surrounding environment. My grandmother gave me a workout trampoline, so with that and taking various cushions out of the house I was able to learn how to do flips. But mostly I learned everything off of youtube, and trial and error. I've gotten considerably better since the making of this little video and plan to make a BP3 with some other people in the video aswell. The downside to not having a gym is that progression is painfully slow. I've been doing parkour for 2 1/2 year now and I feel I should be doing better. So, go outside, and make do with what you got. Do a tac off a tree, vault over some rail, and roll on the floor. After about 3 months you'll get a feel for it and it all becomes easier from there.
@***** Awesome! And thanks for the reply. I gotta say, you did a great job on this video! We are almost the same in training, I train in my really weird yard, I'm not sure if it's my front or backyard. I think it's the sideyard. But My yard is a triangle and goes downhill. But I have a little piece of flatness. I have four cushions I use, and they helped alot. I watched alot of tutorials on YouTube as well. And yeah, trail and error with me. I spent about two mouths or so practicing a front flip. Yeah, PAINFULLY slow.. You're my roll model, can't wait to see the third one!!
@Dash Roll model? heh, I don't really know how to respond to that except, thanks man. I don't know where you live but the best advice I can give you is to practice in different environments. I like to run in my cities downtown. Thats my favorite place to train. Just make sure you don't only train in one area.
"For "parkouring", she says.
