I've met both of you have have to say you guys are two of the NICEST youtubers I have ever met and people I've ever met. (not saying youtubers aren't people oh wow this sounds weird idk I hope you know what I mean).. I met Dodie at vidcon 2015 at the Dovan m&g and i was super shy but I remember Dodie had dropped some stuff while walking and I helped pick it up and she was super kind and thanked me and the others that helped. I asked for a video for a friend and she kindly said yes(along with Evan of course) and gave such a nice hug and really made me feel welcome. I also met Stevie at buffer festival 2016 and she was soOOO sweet as well. I asked for a picture and talked to her for a bit and she was so easy to talk to and even decided to take matters into her own hands and took the pictures in better lighting which I thought was very thoughtful and sweet of her to do. It made me feel like she was comfortable with me and really was a friend. I can say the same for Dodie and Stevie when I say they're both super sweet people who really enjoy being with their viewers.

Did anyone else think this was kind of dangerous? You don't know who or what would be in the party. This time you got lucky and it was fairly safe with nice people (minus the drugs) but something could have happened. Putting yourself in an unknown risky situation like that where nobody knows who you are could have turned out bad. I absolutely trust you are responsible and know when to draw the line, so I don't judge you, but I don't think it's a great idea to glorify this, as some younger subscribers could do the same and put themselves in a dangerous situation. I completely agree with what you're saying... people go overboard and it is invasive. However, in this specific case I don't think "please tell me you two are dating..." is a horrible thing to say. I think it's a harmless comment which is simple someone showing that they think they would be a cute couple. I very much thought that this was doddie's ' here's my girlfriend ' video. I haven't seen anything else on the tube but then again it might have gotten serious and doddie decided she didn't want her personal life rung thru the ringer again. couple of things: casual background, home but not in the bedroom, probably kitchen table, doddie has her casual, walk around the house makeup on, stevie looks more made up but likely she's one of those women that roll out of bed looking that way(with lighter eyes.) in a soft voice stevie calls her gorgeous, in a even softer voice doddie Introduces her and says she is great and wonderful. her voice is so soft that I didn't quite get the part after stevie but assumed from the context that she said 'she's my girlfriend' which I realized didn't quite mesh, replayed it a couple of times and finally turned on the subtitles to be sure what she said. and i'm still not sure that I was totally wrong. saying that she's great and wonderful in that soft voice has meaning. the rest of the vid is in dodie's usual, often quite loud, banter. but this bit at the start was spoken in the soft tone when you are telling someone a secret or giving someone a very important bit of info...like..."she my great, wonderful girlfriend".... and of course its none of my business and I could be totally wrong... it's just a theory... a doddie theory...
one other observation, for a gal who who was immediately and wholeheartedly in favor of 'getting naked', stevie seemed to have her jacket on during a good bit of this party... just saying...
Statistically speaking, Dodie has no need to draw in her female audience as her online persona already has a vast percentage of that covered. Therefore it is likely that any and all extra enticement is aimed towards audiences not included (one of those being the majority of the male audience). This leads me to conclude that the reason the title includes the words "and we got (slightly) naked" is solely to interest a typically uninterested masculine niche despite the fact that the story is far more tame, and if there's any NSFW content at all it would be the almost entirely naked men doing drugs.
But don't worry; I'm not really fussed that there's clickbait, after all it's just clever marketing... No what irritates me is that Dodie of all people is now using it, presumably because of YouTube's lack of concern that their website is broken.

(not saying youtubers aren't people oh wow this sounds weird idk I hope you know what I mean).. I met Dodie at vidcon 2015 at the Dovan m&g and i was super shy but I remember Dodie had dropped some stuff while walking and I helped pick it up and she was super kind and thanked me and the others that helped. I asked for a video for a friend and she kindly said yes(along with Evan of course) and gave such a nice hug and really made me feel welcome. I also met Stevie at buffer festival 2016 and she was soOOO sweet as well. I asked for a picture and talked to her for a bit and she was so easy to talk to and even decided to take matters into her own hands and took the pictures in better lighting which I thought was very thoughtful and sweet of her to do. It made me feel like she was comfortable with me and really was a friend. I can say the same for Dodie and Stevie when I say they're both super sweet people who really enjoy being with their viewers.

This time you got lucky and it was fairly safe with nice people (minus the drugs) but something could have happened. Putting yourself in an unknown risky situation like that where nobody knows who you are could have turned out bad. I absolutely trust you are responsible and know when to draw the line, so I don't judge you, but I don't think it's a great idea to glorify this, as some younger subscribers could do the same and put themselves in a dangerous situation. 0 likesI very much thought that this was doddie's ' here's my girlfriend ' video. I haven't seen anything else on the tube but then again it might have gotten serious and doddie decided she didn't want her personal life rung thru the ringer again. couple of things: casual background, home but not in the bedroom, probably kitchen table, doddie has her casual, walk around the house makeup on, stevie looks more made up but likely she's one of those women that roll out of bed looking that way(with lighter eyes.) in a soft voice stevie calls her gorgeous, in a even softer voice doddie Introduces her and says she is great and wonderful. her voice is so soft that I didn't quite get the part after stevie but assumed from the context that she said 'she's my girlfriend' which I realized didn't quite mesh, replayed it a couple of times and finally turned on the subtitles to be sure what she said. and i'm still not sure that I was totally wrong. saying that she's great and wonderful in that soft voice has meaning. the rest of the vid is in dodie's usual, often quite loud, banter. but this bit at the start was spoken in the soft tone when you are telling someone a secret or giving someone a very important bit of info...like..."she my great, wonderful girlfriend"....

0 likesStatistically speaking, Dodie has no need to draw in her female audience as her online persona already has a vast percentage of that covered. Therefore it is likely that any and all extra enticement is aimed towards audiences not included (one of those being the majority of the male audience). This leads me to conclude that the reason the title includes the words "and we got (slightly) naked" is solely to interest a typically uninterested masculine niche despite the fact that the story is far more tame, and if there's any NSFW content at all it would be the almost entirely naked men doing drugs.
