Hey Earth, great video! I decided to take a look at the minecraft source (version 1.15) just out of curiosity and discovered that the hashCode() function for the ChunkPos class is not implemented as a naive xor operation. Instead the hash is equal to '(1664525 * x + 1013904223) ^ (1664525 * (z ^ -559038737) + 1013904223)'. Has this been patched? or am I looking at the completely wrong thing?

Correct, as I showed at some point in the video, perhaps not very clearly, this permaloader stuff only works up to 1.12

0 likesHa ha, man this is late. I'm pretty sure villager and beacon loaders work as permaloaders without the 100 "bait" chunks but I might be wrong.

xD dude there are people who play in older versions
0 likesVillager loaders and beacon loaders aren't the same thing, they reload chunks that have been fully unloaded
