Blue Mammoth Biography
The Brazilian act BLUE MAMMOTH was formally founded in 2009. At that point, longtime friends Julien Quilodran (bass) and Andre Micheli (keyboards) were already developing Blue Mammoth as a studio project, initially perhaps largely driven by Quilodran's need and desire to engage in creative and fruitful musical collaboration after the collapse of his former band The Octohper in 2002, slowly developing to become a creative outlet based on the studio, and then finally a real life band when Thiego Mayer (drums) and Andre Lupac (guitars) joined permanently.
After the release of some initial singles, Blue Mammoth was approached by indie label Masque Records. Work subsequently began on the creation of the debut album. At this stage, Lupac unfortunately had to leave the band, but luckily Cesar Aires (guitars), who was involved in an earlier phase of the band's project, had both the opportunity and interest to join. Ensuring that work with their upcoming debut can proceed more or less as planned.
After two years of work, the material of the entire album was ready for launch, and in 2011 Blue Mammoth, the band and album, were made available thanks to Masque Records.ladislav&zivanovic...............Blue Mammoth is a young band from Brazil with one album that has been released so far on its very name. I like what I flock to this debutante is , they melt very well symphonic prog passes with more rockier parts, the resoult is not even spectacular or the original is very enjoyable at the end. I like Andrea Micheli's voice that he doesn't have that forign language speaker approach, he has a very good voice for this kind of music and he fits perfectly here, as he is responsible for keyboards that are very good here. The album is balanced overall, from slow and mild parts to more pace with lots of memorable passages, as complex as metamorphosis, Growin or on the opening track. Please from start to finish these guys used to make a pretty enjoyable album, maybe the Brazilian prog scene isn't so front now , but from time to time there are bands that need attention, even as I said before this is not a spectacular album, it's decent with good babes. Symphonic prog parts are present here on almost every piece, giving more symphonic prog oriantation to their songs even melting with more hrder edges and some neo passes in places.ladislav&zivanovic.............

L’acte brésilien BLUE MAMMOTH a été officiellement fondé en 2009. À ce moment-là, des amis de longue date Julien Quilodran (basse) et André Micheli (claviers) développaient déjà Blue Mammoth en tant que projet de studio, initialement peut-être en grande partie motivé par le besoin et le désir de Quilodran de s’engager dans une collaboration musicale créative et fructueuse après l’effondrement de son ancien groupe The Octohper en 2002, se développant lentement pour devenir un exutoire créatif basé sur le studio, et puis enfin un groupe de la vie réelle quand Thiego Mayer (batterie) et Andre Lupac (guitares) se sont joints définitivement.
Après la sortie de quelques singles initiaux, Blue Mammoth a été approché par le label indépendant Masque Records. Le travail a ensuite commencé sur la création du premier album. À ce stade, Lupac a malheureusement dû quitter le groupe, mais heureusement, Cesar Aires (guitares), qui a été impliqué dans une phase antérieure du projet du groupe, a eu à la fois l’opportunité et l’intérêt de rejoindre. S’assurer que le travail avec leurs débuts à venir peut se dérouler plus ou moins comme prévu.
Après deux ans de travail, le matériel de l’album entier était prêt pour le lancement, et en 2011 Blue Mammoth, le groupe et l’album, ont été mis à disposition grâce à Masque Records.ladislav&zivanovic...............Blue Mammoth est un jeune groupe du Brésil avec un album qui a été publié jusqu’à présent sur son nom même. J’aime ce que j’afflue à cette débutante est, ils fondent très bien cols prog symphoniques avec des parties plus rocailleux, le resoult n’est même pas spectaculaire ou l’original est très agréable à la fin. J’aime la voix d’Andrea Micheli qu’il n’a pas cette approche de locuteur de langue forign, il a une très bonne voix pour ce genre de musique et il s’intègre parfaitement ici, car il est responsable des claviers qui sont très bons ici. L’album est globalement équilibré, des parties lentes et douces à plus de rythme avec beaucoup de passages mémorables, aussi complexes que la métamorphose, Growin ou sur la piste d’ouverture. S’il vous plaît du début à la fin, ces gars-là avaient l’habitude de faire un album assez agréable, peut-être que la scène prog brésilienne n’est pas si front maintenant , mais de temps en temps, il y a des groupes qui ont besoin d’attention, même comme je l’ai déjà dit, ce n’est pas un album spectaculaire, c’est décent avec de bons bébés. Des parties de prog symphoniques sont présentes ici sur presque toutes les pièces, donnant plus de prog symphonique oriantation à leurs chansons même fondre avec plus de bords hrder et quelques neo passes dans endroits.ladislav&zivanovic.............
