taught by my teacher how to hack a wifi in just a few minutes using kali linux and some brute force cmd software (I am a CS undergraduate). Tried to hack a local cafe wifi and it Worked! Cannot believe how easy it is!
@Tahmid alpha12 nah it's just for fun and i only tried in some random coffee shop a while back and i don't do hacking anymore. Been busy with my projects, etc. I just wanna try to see how hard can it be.
Computer forensics is definitely the right area for "white hat" hacking. Capability can be taught, geniuses are not born, they are created through learning and practicing. If you have a passion for something, don't let anyone or anything stop you from pursuing it. A passion for learning and that fire inside that drives you to improve will get you 99% of the way there. Any teacher or employer will likely tell you that given the choice between someone who is naturally skilled at their job but doesn't take it very seriously, and someone with a passion for what they do and a willingness to learn, they will take the second one hands down.

White hat and black hat hackers don't have to dislike each other, in fact a little bit of understanding and respect can often lead to more ability to think like the other side and do your job more effectively.
