I had a question about your covers. Do you purchase the rights for them or does the way you redo the music and change it to make it your own make the covers covered under fair use? Or is simply not monetizing the videos enough? Anyone else who knows is free to answer as I wanted to do some covers but couldn't afford all the licensing and didn't want to risk legal reprecutions.
Hey, maybe sb has the answer on this. How exactly do the legal rights work on covering song and using it in an AD (and therefore monetized) video? Do you have to go through an insane legal process every time to make sure the original composer doesn't put it down?

Why do people automatically jump to a negative conclusion whenever someone who is chunkier loses weight. Isn't it a good thing that she lost the weight that she wasn't once happy with? Yes, we don't know what the cause is. But you also don't have to jump to conclusion that you should have to hope for her wellbeing because you assume it's something negative. Why not be happy she has dealt with an insecurity she once had about herself
well i think what people are trying to say (and i agree) is that they arent trying to make conclusions at all-- just making an observation. i noticed she looked thinner and came down to the comments to see if anyone else did too. i dont think anyone was saying she had an eating disorder. making an observation isnt an insult. if i said, "hey, that girl's hair is brown," you wouldnt think that i was insulting her by pointing it out.
Belle I didn't think the original comment was insulting. It's just that, even though she said that she isn't saying it's bad or anything, she wishes that dodie is alright and doing well. When you put that after a comment about someone losing weight in a short time, idk I guess I just put the two together since they are in the same comment... ya know? We don't know if she reads the comments. I wouldn't want to find out that people are wishing me good health due directly to my loss of weight. Even if it was an eating disorder, I wouldn't hope that it was as obvious as that to people.
If you have a friend who has had a rapid weight loss, wouldn't you be slightly worried? Most people would say as long as you're happy and healthy then I'm proud of you! Right? That's how my comments were meant. As long as it's happy, healthy weight loss, then good for her, I'm proud of her. I'm not entirely sure why it's wrong for anyone to wish someone well however.

Honestly, it looks like she hasn't really lost weight or only lost a slight bit of weight. She's always been very slim, even in videos like 3 years old.

Jamie Ponsford i never said her legs were to thin, or that she was ever chunky. I didnt make any assumptions. I just noticed that she appears to have lost weight recently. Like you said she has always been pretty slim, so when upon noticing this i wanted to see if it was just me who noticed. Because yes it could be nothing, or it could be something. I just hope that she is doing well and is healthy and stuff like that. Stop trying make this something its not.
When I met her (17th of March) one of the first things I noticed when I hugged her was that she was very thin. She is quite tall about 5"7 so it's kinda unusual for a girl her height to be as skiing as she was when I met her.
i know I'm very late to this and i too don't mean to offend anyone but yes dodie does seem to have lost weight but she still seems vert healthy so theres no need to worry! on her snapchat you can see she has a good diet and drinks a lot of green tea, does swimming etc. i think it seems more shocking because she used to hide her body but is much more confident now and we can actually see how gorgeous she is. but she doesnt look dangerously thin (e.g the weight hasn't completely been stripped from her face, her arms have good shape etc.)

Instead of focusing on what you don't have, focus on what you do. Unless you starve yourself (because being this thin is usually due to your body's structure) you aren't going to look like this. Just this year I've raised LGBTQ awareness in my school, stood up for the LGBTQ community to people that degrade them for being happy for who they are, currently working on getting the school to change prom nominations to be more gender neutral with the help of other students, wrote a senior paper on the LGBTQ community and youths, connected my project to it as well, and will be helping a fellow student hand out pride and awareness buttons for the day of silence this year at my school. So hear me out... it's been one of those days, and I didn't read the opening bit so carefully...and I sat there for a moment extremely awed by the fact that one can play a fork and that it has such a range of notes. Nah she just makes faces when she sings. It's natural for her. She does it more when she sings more passionately or when she sings notes that are harder to reach.

OMG When i was in japan I had been basically pronouncing thank you wrong the entire time.. I was basically saying in japanese "Thanks, it was a rice bowl" everytime I went to the checkouts, no wonder I had so many stares xD Don't kill me :'D

Like you said she has always been pretty slim, so when upon noticing this i wanted to see if it was just me who noticed. Because yes it could be nothing, or it could be something. I just hope that she is doing well and is healthy and stuff like that. Stop trying make this something its not.
18 likesWhen I met her (17th of March) one of the first things I noticed when I hugged her was that she was very thin. She is quite tall about 5"7 so it's kinda unusual for a girl her height to be as skiing as she was when I met her.
3 likesi know I'm very late to this and i too don't mean to offend anyone but yes dodie does seem to have lost weight but she still seems vert healthy so theres no need to worry! on her snapchat you can see she has a good diet and drinks a lot of green tea, does swimming etc. i think it seems more shocking because she used to hide her body but is much more confident now and we can actually see how gorgeous she is. but she doesnt look dangerously thin (e.g the weight hasn't completely been stripped from her face, her arms have good shape etc.)

emily hates people If you started studying Japanese, or are wanting to, I should probably tell you the particle "wa" is actually written as "は" (これはなんですか) to help you in the future. It's kinda left over from older Japanese.
