To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of adult references most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Twilight's amicable outlook, which is deftly woven into her characterisation - her personal philosophy draws heavily from Epicurus' literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny - they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike My Little Pony truly ARE idiots - of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the message in Twilight's meaningful lesson "Friendship is Magic," which itself is a cryptic reference to Sรฎn-lฤqi-unninni's Mesopotamian Epic of Gilgamesh. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Lauren Faust's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. Some die hard Rick & Morty fan waited in line on the day of Szechuan sauce's legendary return back in October last year just to find out that store didn't carry that sauce.
As of now you can get it anywhere, but it doesn't taste as good as binging with babish's homemade sauce, nor what I remembered, which is taking a tangy bbq, 1 and 1/2 sweet and sour sauce, and mixing it with a teaspoon of some sriracha paste.
