Zakon su podijelili s Kingom Crimsonom i Gentle Giandom, a ako ste sretni što posjedujete jednu od prekrasnih knjiga Genesisa Armanda Galla, primijetit ćete da Peter Gabriel nosi majicu Ethos tijekom njihove američke turneje 1975.

Demo-studijske pjesme sadrže snažne instrumentalne skladbe (prekrasne Mellotronove erupcije, vatrena električna gitara, dvoboj čembala/električne gitare) s naznakama da, ali skladbe zvuče više kao džem i u nekim trenucima pomalo jezivo/fragmentično. Pjesme uživo više su u venu Genesisa s više raznolikosti (akustična gitara, žice) i mnogim Mellotron poplavama. Vrhunac je "Pimp city dream" (gotovo 18 minuta): prvi dio s uvjerljivom bombastičnom klimom, dočaran zamršenom međuigrom vatrene električne gitare i pokretnog Mellotrona (pomalo sličnog Anekdotenu), uz cinične vokale. Na pola puta je potpuna tišina, nakon čega slijedi Glenn Miller poput komada, međudjelovanje gitarskih orgulja i heavy orguljaški solo. Završni dio uključuje tečan ritam koji donosi R&R gitaru i bombastične orgulje. OVO JE JEDAN OD BOLJIH AMERIČKIH PROGROCK BENDOVA!ladislav&zivanovic.......
. Tout d’abord, les aologies sont très bien - 1 Échantillons ODEO sur mes deux autres messages ne fonctionnent pas - Ils le font dans l’éditeur de blog donc - Jusqu’à présent, je suis un peu confus. Deuxièmement, je n’ai pas réussi à mettre la main sur des œuvres d’art décentes... pour ce post Ethos. Le premier album d’Ethos « Ardour » est excellent et se vend bien, en particulier au Royaume-Uni, au Japon et en Allemagne........... Voici un examen de l’archive Prog avec lequel je suis d’accord ...

Les chansons live sont plus dans la veine de Genesis avec plus de variété (guitare acoustique, cordes) et de nombreuses inondations Mellotron. Le point culminant est « Pimp city dream » (près de 18 minutes): la première partie avec un climat grandiloquent convaincant, évoqué par l’interaction complexe de la guitare électrique enflammée et du Mellotron émouvant (un peu comme Annexion), avec une voix cynique. À mi-chemin, il y a un silence complet, suivi de morceaux à la Glenn Miller, d’une interaction d’orgue de guitare et d’un solo d’orgue lourd. La dernière partie comprend un rythme fluide qui apporte une guitare R &R et un orgue grandiloquent. C’EST L’UN DES MEILLEURS GROUPES DE PROGROCK AMÉRICAINS!ladislav&zivanovic.......

The highlight is "Pimp city dream" (nearly 18 minutes): the first part with a compelling bombastic climate, evoked by the intricate interplay of fiery electric guitar and moving Mellotron (a bit like Annexation), with cynical vocals. Halfway through, there's complete silence, followed by Glenn Miller-like pieces, an interaction of guitar organ and a heavy organ solo.
