its not the real bootscreen you cant start cmd at the real bootscreen as the win32 subsystem isn’t loaded yet so it will just bsod if you try running cmd only apps like chkdsk or non win32 apps run at the real bootscreen
Windows wasn't booting at the point where he got the cmd, as that bootscreen was fake. It is a bootscreen that Windows uses to fake booting up so it can do setup.
Ok so I have some semblance of how this works. The reason this works from the OOBE is because of a line in the registry where oobe\windeploy (the command that triggers the windows is getting devices ready stuff). If you switch it it will execute a command prompt instead of oobe. The reason it had the means to start during the boot screen is four letters, SCCM, they needed a proper enviroment for SCCM to happen so they chose the boot screen. If you watch an SCCM deploying you'll see something simaler to this but it's with an SCCM window. Hope I could explain some things!

Check your registry at 1:51 . There you can see you are actually not working with the "real" OS but into the "Installation OS" ( its C:\Windows\PANTHER --> Not C:\Windows ). This is getting used while bootup and "Getting devices ready" for example. Thats why you are stuck at the bootscreen and at the same time are able to open a CMD. You are between the "Offlineservicing" and "oobesystem" phase and as such the system is messed up as hell as there isnt supposed to be any user interaction while switching phases =D
The possible reason why you drop in logonui is that the setup UI would trigger restarts when needed and would exit when no longer needed. When you kill winlogon it will automatically kill the setup UI and allow the post-setup stuff to happen.

you know how you can choose your desktop environment in linux? like between things like gnome and kde? if you turn of explorer the windows ui disappears, so explorer must be some sort of desktop environment runtime. There’s the real boot screen which loads all the actual programs. Then you see the loading circle slow down and loose some frames, that’s the fake boot screen which can open other windows applications

One time i went in oobe an as soon as it started ctrl + shift f3 it blue screened. I got windows restarted unexpectedly so i opened regedit and changed values and added my user name was test user. So i forgot to to sethc bug. I realised i was a idiot and that windows would fail. Next boot. I did sethc bug also. My user deleted! I was installing windows10 from a USB to my Kingston Samsung SSD (for someone else), but I was using my computer witch already had windows10 installed on it. So now, I can't load windows from my Kingston SSD alone - When I have Kingston unplugged, loading windows from my Samsung SSD, it will suggest 2 operating systems for me to LOAD into, like it has made it boot-files, for both windows10 systems on my own Samsung SSD, even though the Kingston has windows-files installed in it.
Im obviously just gonna wipe the Kingston SSD clean, but now it will always ask witch windows 10 system I wanna log into (AND CHOOSE THE WRONG ONE IF IM NOT FAST ENOUGHT, TO CHOOSE MYSELF, RIP -.-)

u dont need system privileges to activate windows u can do it in 3 lines of commands in cmd u just need to choose a product key using the license manager cli, and choose a third party KMS server eg digiboy and then start the activating, literally three lines of commands in like 10 seconds

0 likesCheck your registry at 1:51 . There you can see you are actually not working with the "real" OS but into the "Installation OS" ( its C:\Windows\PANTHER --> Not C:\Windows ). This is getting used while bootup and "Getting devices ready" for example. Thats why you are stuck at the bootscreen and at the same time are able to open a CMD. You are between the "Offlineservicing" and "oobesystem" phase and as such the system is messed up as hell as there isnt supposed to be any user interaction while switching phases =D

4 likesThe possible reason why you drop in logonui is that the setup UI would trigger restarts when needed and would exit when no longer needed. When you kill winlogon it will automatically kill the setup UI and allow the post-setup stuff to happen.

0 likesat 3:20, the reason why you end up at the logon screen is because, as a failsafe, Windows 10 (and now 11) will attempt to safely close running programs and log you off as quickly as it can. since there are literally no processes other than those needed for Windows to start, it just immediately boots you "back" to the logon, even if it's busted to all hell.

There’s the real boot screen which loads all the actual programs. Then you see the loading circle slow down and loose some frames, that’s the fake boot screen which can open other windows applications

I got windows restarted unexpectedly so i opened regedit and changed values and added my user name was test user. So i forgot to to sethc bug. I realised i was a idiot and that windows would fail. Next boot. I did sethc bug also. My user deleted! So i made it again windows bsoded and restarted then it started up. It would not let me in my user. And sethc wasnt working so i did ctrl alt del and security options came up and i did taskmgr. Also i didnt have prosses hacker. So i went in cmd and opened explorer. Which happily crashed alot. After that i did recovery and it was fine!

Help me... my windows installing went wrong... note: Kingston was a clean SSD. Samsung is my own old SSD.

So now, I can't load windows from my Kingston SSD alone - When I have Kingston unplugged, loading windows from my Samsung SSD, it will suggest 2 operating systems for me to LOAD into, like it has made it boot-files, for both windows10 systems on my own Samsung SSD, even though the Kingston has windows-files installed in it.
Im obviously just gonna wipe the Kingston SSD clean, but now it will always ask witch windows 10 system I wanna log into (AND CHOOSE THE WRONG ONE IF IM NOT FAST ENOUGHT, TO CHOOSE MYSELF, RIP -.-)
Btw, I do not have any kind of back-up :))) All my presets, tweaks ect. - I can't lose all that sh!t pls help
