Great video Dig. I’ve often thought about trying to capture this unseen part of the community as well.
The principles you’ve outlined here were true in my experience as well. Even in the SpawnMasons, I always had my spawn base that players could go to and be noticed. In the Guardsmen, we have the homeland.
I think one thing you may have left out is that while having media sources like Fit can be good for publicity, depending on the way you go about it will either cause you to gain or lose respect from really established players. There’s a reason why Bachi’s group only attracts newer players and there’s nothing wrong with that.
There’s definitely a difference between groups like Infinity Incursion and the sort that I’ve created. In the same way that there are players that act as nomads, there are groups that do the same. Private invite only groups like mine don’t interact with much of the community apart from pushing really large feats/accomplishments into the public eye.
Thanks for showing a side of 2b2t that hasn’t been talked about before. I think you’ve captured the essence of this quite well. I’ve always told people in interviews that the biggest change to come to the server has been Discord.

interesting, the idea of anarchy and "no rules" seems to guide a lot of newfriends into following some kind of invisible chaos that turns into either larping or tomfoolery.
Such a good and just plain honest vid. 10/10 Every new player should be REQUIRED to watch this video. It's even given myself ideas on how to make my own group better!

Just realized my group is on the cover of this vid and in some of its footage, Monolith, which is nice honestly lol, thanks Dig. I got strangely nostalgic watching people blow up my old home lol. This vid is probably the best I've seen on 2b groups, its really well done! You did a really good job explaining groups for people who've never played 2b. I don't know if you haven't noticed dig, but 2b2t is probably one of the best places that kinda emulate real life. Little lessons here and there, I've noticed.
2b2t the anime delves into themes like war, friendship, betrayal, and moving on when things get destroyed. There are specials on holidays and I do wonder what the filler episodes are like

I have experienced a fair amount of both tbf, sometimes yeah its a smaller time attacking a larger one so that they can get relevancy, but sometimes its just drama between the members of the two groups that make them genuinely hate each other.
