I understand. This is the point where true freedom of being a kid is gone. Some may have lived it well, while others regret they missed out. Now we must move on and find a job or continue the education grind. The freedom from economics and self sufficiency is over. It is time we grow up and only reminisce on the past days of being a kid. The freedom of ignorance and responsibility. Being a kid was a blast. It’s time to move on.

Man, Graduation was such a power trip. To be finally free of that shitshow that was SCHOOL, it's such a wonderful feeling.

I just graduated and have this impending feeling that I am jumping into an unknown abyss. I'm going off to college in only 3 months, and I can just feel my childhood, or what was left of it rotting away. I'm glad for the moment, but absolutely terrified of the future.

I'm becoming a senior in 17 minutes as I'm writing this, I'm pretty anxious for the future since I don't want to leave my large friend group as the time comes (even though that's far from now). I'm definitely going to miss the high school memories for sure and I hope I'll stay with the people I'm close with. I can't predict the upcoming future that I fear, but can only shape the future myself with decisions.

Not mentioned:
-the deafening silence of loneliness after being surrounded by people everyday since kindergarten.

-The dread hoping that the friends you made along the years will hold out long enough to keep you sane.

-The complete confusion of what to do now that your life isn’t a straight path.

I felt empty the first week after my high school graduation. That even my aunt was asking me if I'm going to go to college, work, or just be unemployed.

Here I am now, it's currently our finals week in my first year of college, and I'm certain that I am going to fail this year. I probably might take a year off to find myself.

I was unlucky with the hand in life I was given. Born to a financially struggling family was not the worst part, it was realizing that I had grown used to not having a lot of money to buy things I wanted. I lack desire, and the motivation to work high paying jobs because I’m satisfied just having enough food for the month and some books to read.
I’m 19 and only now slowly building the motivation and desire to not just survive but to THRIVE after moving away from my mother. Got accepted into college and I will be working towards becoming a detective in the future.

My heart goes out to you all, I hope I can help find the people that make life painful for you.

surprisingly, i get paid pretty well despite being graduated. but i will say that i started out at this point, so i can definitely relate to this during that period.

I graduated last year and this whole year has kinda felt like a fever dream. I did a year of college and did pretty good but I'm still not even sure if I wanna continue college. I'm completely broke and I know I need to get a summer job but I just don't have motivation at the moment. There were a lot of things I hated about highschool but I do miss the simpler nature of it.

I had my last day of K-12 school today. I used to always take these nostalgic posts with a grain of salt knowing that in a way I was still experiencing that future nostalgia (stilling being in school), but now that it's all over forever I can't help but finally feel vulnerable to these posts, which is not a bad thing at all.

The day I graduated high school nearly one year ago was the greatest day in my entire life because that day began a period of unwinding and finally ending all of the different kinds of bullshit that COVID brought on that lasted for over two years for me. I am looking forward to celebrating the 1 year anniversary of that day in two weeks.

Sometimes I wish I never was a kid, so I don't have to miss the simpler life I had back then.

A Pokémon with Protean or Libero will become a Grass-type Pokémon if it uses a Grass-type move.
