3d pinball works in Windows 95,98,neptune,me,2000,XP,vista,7,8,8.1,10, test all of these operacional system with the 3d pinball game: probable will works with all these systems
xp was available in 64 bit, at least xp professional was. and even if he used 32bit xp, the 32bit applications should be able to run on a 64bit system. maybe if he ran them with compatibility mode, assuming that didnt get broken.
Is there a way to make this work? I don't know, like taking Windows XP x64 (or Windows Server 2003 since it seems to be more stable) as a base OS and then slowly replace old system files with newer versions until it doesn't work? That would be very interesting although time-consuming.
If the shutdown UI doesn't work, try opening CMD.exe (assuming you have admin privileges) and use command "shutdown -s" to shut down, "shutdown -r" to reboot, and "shutdown -h" to hibernate. Add argument "-t xxx" (xxx = time in seconds) to add time to shutdown.

0 likesIs there a way to make this work? I don't know, like taking Windows XP x64 (or Windows Server 2003 since it seems to be more stable) as a base OS and then slowly replace old system files with newer versions until it doesn't work? That would be very interesting although time-consuming.

1 likeIf the shutdown UI doesn't work, try opening CMD.exe (assuming you have admin privileges) and use command "shutdown -s" to shut down, "shutdown -r" to reboot, and "shutdown -h" to hibernate. Add argument "-t xxx" (xxx = time in seconds) to add time to shutdown.
