Try to look at yourself from different perspectives. Dodie may thinks she looks like an egg, but I beg to differ. I think she's one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. My friend has gorgeous eyes, a lovely smile and a great figure but I've recently discovered she's had anxiety because she thought she looked like shit. I've got spots on my face and back and chest, I've got stretch marks on my thighs, bum and tummy. My boobs and bum are a bit lopsided and small (lolzer) I've got fat arms, fat legs and a fat tummy, my hair is dead and gets greasy easily, my eyes are droopy and my head is quite big. However, I've got nice straight teeth, I've got a cute button nose, my eyes are a nice shade of brown, my natural hair colour is very nice and unique (lots of people think I have highlights) and I am tall, which I like. You are beautiful, and if you don't think that somebody else does. I'm not trying to say beauty is the most important thing because it's not but please try and love your features

The attitude of the workers in Lush is the reason I don't like going in there. I am a very anxious/nervous person and I would very much prefer to browse by myself instead of being bombarded by the staff, despite how friendly they are. I think its really silly they have to do whatever they do :(

Your impression of a Lush worker is basically my experience the other day.
I walked in and this friendly woman came up to me and was like hi, my name is Jess and Im going to show you some of our products today.
10 mins later and I had had the vanilla hand cream and moisturisure on and washed off. Then she had put a bubble bar and some of that play dough stuff in a jar and was like feel the bubbles. I dried off my hand but it obviously wasnt enough and she got a little impatient and you see she wanted to scream FEEL THE BUBBLES! She was much like that fish in finding nemo.
I walked out with £35 worth of Lush stuff

I personally LOVED working for Lush, however I think I was fortunate to work at a particularly friendly and organised store. I totally love the ethics and morals of the company as well as the atmosphere in a lot of the shops, however I did get to the stage of a trial shift at another store in the next city over and it was COMPLETELY different to the experience I had working at my branch, so I can totally see why Dodie has a few negative things to say about her experience; ultimately, staff have to work very hard all day long at Lush, and there are many little tips and tricks to make the shift more bearable and enjoyable, but at the end of the day it's still a very tiring (yet arguably very rewarding) job. Love the style of this video Dodie, more casual chats would be v welcome xx

OOF i used to work at a Basin and every day people would ask if we were LUSH. It was so irritating but oh well. It was a big competitor so was Nectar. Like Lush is pigmented and pretty and nectar looks like a pastry wonderland. Then there was Basin. We looked so bland the only good thing about our products was that it was to treat people with eczema psoriasis and sensitive skin. And there was big tea about both workplaces. But nonetheless where i worked at closed down oof.
