Starlight Invaded Apple Bloom's Dream?

Not a bad theory, though we haven't seen Starlight use dream magic before or since. I can't help but look back on the events of 'A Royal Problem'. If Starlight had any control over the dream realm, I kinda feel like she would have done more with that.
Does that make sense?

It's too bad that Starlight never really revealed much about what the things she did during her time plotting revenge, because i could've totally imagined Starlight saying-"I spied on you and your friends for months, trying to figure out how to get revenge on all of you."

This theory especially makes sense when you consider that Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo say they had similar dreams that same night! Not to mention the colt from the CMC Camp the trio starts after getting their cutie marks. He turns an entire group of colts and fillies against cutie marks using a message almost identical to Apple Bloom's dream. I'm curious as to just how many young pony's dreams Starlight might've had a hoof in during this period of time. Kinda scary if you think about it...

I think this makes a lot of sense. I think Starlight could have had a hand in Applebloom's dream. It would make for an interesting fanfic story where Starlight tells everypony about what she had been doing the entire time throughout Season 5 between the premiere and the finale. I could imagine if Luna caught her, Luna would say, "I'm banishing you to the Shadow Realm!" And then Starlight says, "You can't banish me there! I can come and go on my own free will!"

This is by far, the best theory you did. Well done! I have a small mini-theory request: Is it possible there are other equalists out there, either old believers from the village or elsewhere? We know that the belief in the evil nature of cutiemarks isn`t unique to Starlight, since the crusaders have dealt with an equalist on their camp.

This all depends on how much control/connection Luna has to the dream realm. I have the feeling that Luna would be able to detect some unnatural presence in her realm

You should do a theory on what the Everfree Forest used to be. The comics had stated that the forest was formerly a well kept garden until Discord’s Ex, Cosmos, came to Equestria for the first time.

But as The Nameless One explained, not everything takes place in the same universe. And as far as we know, there was no Cosmos takeover in canon

I guess she could’ve learnt how to walk into ponies’ dream from either from books or from Luna. I guess Starlight would’ve used the information she gained from the dreams she’s walked in against the Mane Six

This is probably one of the most believable theories, things aline up very well, things overall make sense, few thinks to debate, all with good logical counters.

Can we just appreciate that how it has been 2 years and MLP has ended and even a new generation has come, but instead of focusing on that only Sawtooth is taking time for g4 too and keeping the fandom alive
and i was worried that now no one will focus on solving the tiny things in MLP g4

Edit: That laugh sounded actually completely genuine. And really sweet as well. Just from the sound of that, I'd absolutely bet you that the real Sawtooth, aside from the serious voiceover and theories, is probably so much fun to hang out with. Not saying the voiceover is not authentic, the theories and logical reasoning is most likely a big part of their personality as well, but it definitely isn't all there is to Sawtooth. And that laugh sounded so sweet and genuinely joyful, I'd love to see that shine through more often. But no pressure, these are Sawtooth's videos, they're supposed to be comfortable with them.

Hearing this theory made me realize these plots are very similar.
Reoccurring scenarios that start the same but are different because
of one small change and all of them result in negative consequences.
The "Dolphin" scenario is also similar to Starlight's backstory.

But if this theory is true, why would Starlight let the negative consequences from
removing Applebloom's mark happen in the first two scenarios?

Starlight, by the time she sat in on Twilight's presentation, most likely already had the spell 99% complete, only needing the exact time to go back to for maximum effect. Once she knew about the event she needed to disrupt, all she would need to do is check the exact time of the event, finish writing the spell, then sit back and wait for Twilight to come home.

I don't think starlight could have ever FULLY accessed the dream realm. Even an alicorn princess who's cutie mark is about dream walking can still have troubles. I think she can just blurrily influence and maybe watch bits and pieces of it. She probably found some sort of ancient spell.

This was a very interesting idea. I watched the scene where Applebloom has these dreams, and I noticed the shadow had a dual voice, sounding like two voices were speaking at once. Maybe one of those voices was Starlight's, since according to your theory, she was puppeting the shadow. Also, I had no idea that Starlight was in the background spying during those two scenes you pointed out.

Oh my god when I was an actual toddler watching this episode and saw the shadow thing in AB’s dream I genuinely,honest to god said to myself “what she’s saying sounds like what the purple equal mark lady was saying in that other episode”,not helped by the shadow and starlight having the same voice actress in my country’s dub,and was so disappointed when it was just AB herself,I thought it was such a wasted opportunity,so seeing this thumbnail and title I felt vindicated. I think Starlight may have tries to recruit the Mane 6's little ones who looked up to them. Scootalo was upset about not being able to fly. Apple Bloom was worried about her cutie mark. Sweetie Belle, um, she didn't really have anything to be upset about, but still. Starlight attempted to recruit Apple Bloom, but Apple Bloom was too good.

Thanks, this was a theory I had ever since "Bloom and Gloom" first aired, my only basis being "Mysterious voice says cutie marks are bad, therefore it's Starlight"

With this theory, I can’t help but remember her quick adaptation to being her sworn enemy’s friend and savior to all of Equestria by beating Queen Chrysalis, and can’t think that some-pony who thought her evil plan through that much would end up just giving in.

I remember this same theory popping up way back when this Applebloom's dream episode was freshly released. It was around the time when we were so intrigued by Starlight's whereabouts that people coming up with this theory doesn't sound too farfetched at all.

Okay, my thoughts are WOW! Sawtooth Waves you've done it again. Another great theory video that makes a lot of sense and explains pretty much everything. Starlight watching and observing to think of ways to plot her revenge until, the moment where Twilight unintentionally gave her the idea of time travel. So, Twilight gave Starlight the idea she needed causing the fall of Equestria. Maybe Twilight really was the true villain after all? NAH I'm just KIDDING.

Ok, would Apple Bloom ever be able to voice those words she heard in the forest? Never! It’s obviously Starlight.

Seeing starlight has proven her magical abilities time and time again, it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility that she did, and seeing that starlight and the shadow had the same ideals, aka the removal of cutie marks, it seems like starlight was there, however, seeing Luna can see all dreams, it would be right to assume that Luna would feel when someone was tampering with another ponies dreams, so Luna would have removed Starlight from the dream realm and come to fix it. This is honestly a really interesting theory and it just adds another layer to starlights whole revenge plan on the mane 6 also just makes her more of a threat (then you remember her entire reasoning behind everything)

What if, (as part of a larger villain theory), it was actually another unknown villain manipulating Apple Bloom's dream and what if this same entity had done this to Starlight in the past and was the real reason why she became a villain in the first place... maybe this unknown entity was also the catalyst that turned Luna into Nightmare Moon and had been secretly been behind most of the post G1 villains & antagonists in My Little Pony, even perhaps in part the reason behind the events in G5 thus far. as part of an over-reaching plot..? (I call this hypothetical villain Mara, based on a story idea for an MLP film)

I think Starlight had a hoof in more than just Apple Bloom's dreams. Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo also had these nightmares. I think Starlight wanted to spread her message to the ponies around the main six, but Luna became too much of a problem for that to go anywhere.

I had the same feeling about this episode! Of course not like in this video - just a vague idea that Starlight might be involved. But here I think we were told the complete story like it was.
I mean that of course Applejack told her little sister about their adventure in the Starlight's village and the Applebloom's dream could have been invoked by that story ...
But still, those lines about "Cutie marks and troubles are two peas in the same pod" ... This is the Applebloom's dream we are talking about! So everything should be the product of her subconscious. These lines are completely out of place here! Children do not think in such categories and this is a speech not of the young filly but a fully grown adult who can formulate sentences which are sharp as blades. This is obviously not the Applebloom's thoughts. Someone has planted them And it just cant be anypony else but Starlight!

I’ll be honest, as much as I love Starlight and her redemption arc, she could’ve made an epic series finale villain. I’ll be lying if I said the whole “Discord is Grogar” didn’t bother me even a little, but imagine if it was Starlight who rallied the villains. She’s cunning, manipulative, powerful and has well thought out plans.

If she escaped Twilight a second time and had major build-up to be the “final boss” so to speak, I feel like it would’ve been cool. I wonder, is there an alternate timeline where Starlight didn’t choose the path for redemption that Twilight offered her?

While watching that episode I initially assumed it was gonna be a starlight episode until Luna came in, but as much as I respect your hypothesis and can absolutely see where you come from, I really don't think starlight would be able to get away with that even if she could. Celestia had no power over the dream realm until she got Luna's cutie mark, and even as powerful as starlight was I doubt she could either. And even if she did, Luna would most certainly have sensed a foreign presence in the dream realm and caught her.

I feel this season could have done more with Starlight's anti-cutie mark message. Troubleshoes was a perfect example of somepony who lends credence to Starlight's notion that cutie marks cause ponies unhappiness, even if you think the good far outweights the bad. Diamond Tiara seems to have a moment where she doubts the purpose of her cutie mark in Crusaders of the Lost Mark. Though we hardly see Starlight take advantage of these instances. Even in Bloom & Gloom the shadow's hints of parrotting Starlight are too subtle for a childrens' show, and we have no evidence to support Starlight's ability to manifest in another pony's dream. Further disproven when Luna doesn't comment on Starlight's presence despite being far more experienced with dreams as shown later in the season.
Though probably the most disappointing is still that Starlight's hatred of cutie marks was based on a very personal and limited experience. There was very little reason to assume her loss of contact with Sunburst was a universal cutie mark problem only she could fix. If she'd suffered a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety from the expectations her parents put on her for what they believed was her destiny, or if cutie marks repeatedly got in the way of her being able to live a happy life, her heel-face turn wouldn't have been so controversial. And might have had some real life lesson for viewers of pushing back against the expectations others place on you instead of considering what makes you happy.

I was watching you star swirls secret video(for the 9th time) and had a eureka, it happened near the end when you were talking about the first big all three pony action, showed the friendship fire, then showed flurry, what if flurries glass image, had to do with the friendship fire and heart, maybe combining them in some way, which possibly could keep the ice away for good, not just at bay, but give the crystal powers another form of magic as well, which might even connect with the hoof print from the new generation movie, maybe something happened which caused the crystal ponies to flee to equestria, and over the thousands of years, the ponies of mare time Bay ended up with this new magic flurry created, but was hidden till all ponies got magic again, that could've even been her destiny and cutie mark moment, just a thought (I really hope you do a video on this or something, I love your channel)

Before we get into too much... I'd like to talk about the rod Starlight used to steal the powers of the ponies in her old village with, and how it may tie into the memory stones.

The rod itself takes marks already earned by the ones that had them, but there's probably much more to it than that, since it seemed like Starlight was more addicted to them. Perhaps the magic of the ponies was part of their souls as well, because they seemed like they lost themselves when the effects took hold. Including their memories. Could we touch on the subject for a while? This just barely popped into my mind when thinking about their world, and the concept of memory wiping in our world from the men in black. I've experienced it myself, and come back from it somewhat, but I've lost much of myself along with the memory it seems. It's more of a personal matter.

Well I watched all seasons 3 times straight through, I pieced that together sub consciously. How she slipped away from the dream realm to go unnoticed, speculators say she would have done more with it, don't forget she was laying low and not willing to risk attracting attention. She'd prefer to bury the hatchet and go on as life does as if nothing happened. With little else to show for her time as a support character, the focus drew heavily to the future of Equestria, it could have gone on much longer and more mysterious speculations were certain to rise. However there are plenty of easter eggs left to crack, not everything is there on purpose neither in any series is all meant to be explained in the story-line, they're left intentionally to figure out.

when the ponies are trapped in tartarus, there are many unidentified creatures in cages. were they just filler? references to previous mlp incarnations? or evidence of Sweetie Drops' monster-hunting days?

Beside Starlight breaking magical pillars, could it have been like a susconcious fear of having no cutiemark? Sometimes you hear something from a person that wriggles into your head and morphs into a big annoying thing that swims in your head, considering they busted miss equalize who stole cutiemarks i think info may have gotten out.

Either that or Starlight used several artifacts to see and boop a pony in the dream world, assuming you know what to do it wouldnt be hard to use artifacts specially made to bypass the dream barrier? Or she like got a special dream journal and slide it under the mane 6 beds lol, suck their dreams out.

Amazing theory as always! This can also tie into your theory where starlight becomes the next dreamwalker after Luna retires! She would already have a small grasp on having influencing dreams, so she could have developed that skill further to the point of becoming strong enough to take Luna's place.

EDIT: ok i swear i remember him theorizing this at some point, but when i went back to that episode he ends up saying rainbow dash.. am i missing something or remembering wrong? i probably forgot over the course of a few years.

I would add : maybe the way to enter into the dream world is in a book. You have a theory about Luna doesn't walk into the dream world before becoming Nightmare Moon. So maybe Celestia (or other pony) would search how to enter into a Dream World. And Starlight Glimmer would find out somehow about it. So now, she could go see the Mane 6 their personality, fear,…

I think I support your theory. And I have another theory about crystals. Where is Discord? He seems to be immortal so I don't suppose he wasn't there. Something MAJOR must have occurred if he was gone and this is my theory. When Twilight was more than 100 years old she lost all her friends (Except discord). So after her friends died she was heartbroken and Discord tried to send the villains free. However, since Twilight's friends were gone they lost and Triek and the rest of their team found a much More powerful spell that could both absorb the ponies' magic and make it disappear. And to respond to this Sawtooth, your theory is right. But then Discord lost his magic and maybe was trapped in stone. While all the villains took whatever they wanted until they died. (Tirek could have gone back home).

I still think it’s so cool how they had her in the background discretely stalking the girls and non of us knew for a long time

Not sure when or if you’re planning on covering this but I want to know your thoughts on where the other species are in the G5 mlp movie. We saw how incorporated everyone was by the end of S.9 in mlp. What do you think happen and could the three cities shown just be a small population of each pony and there were just other ponies out there still living out Twilight’s belief in friendship??

While I like this theory, and to be honest when I was watching this episode I had similar thoughts, it makes more sense that it was just ABs insecurities eating at her. Scoots and SB also had nightmares related to their CM at the same time (soon after freaking out a bit about them as well).

This be an ooooold one. I'm sure everyone had at first figured it was Starlight, whether it was a dream or reality. But those who listened carefully would recognize Michelle Creber's voice, not Kelly Sheridan.
As for the villain song, well, that wouldn't be much foreshadowing. Daniel Ingram's and William Anderson's music is repeated a lot throughout the show. If you go to 6x19 - The Fault In Our Cutie Marks - and go to 8:10 (after the break) and listen to the background music, you will hear the same melody as Say Goodbye To The Holidays. Would that mean Starlight's shenanigans are behind Gabby (or any other creature outside of ponies) not getting a cutie mark?

.....You know what? That's a theory worth pondering. Why only ponies get Cutie Marks? Or did all creatures have them at one point and something erased them? One of those right up there with... what's the word... "Hasbro Syndrome"? In all the 2D cartoons both flanks are marked, but the toys only had one side marked, and now in 3D they represent the toys better... or... I don't know, never known any of the toys to be made of a suede-velvet material. (See fuzzy pop vinyls)

Out of all the villains I think that starlight was the worst. If twilight didn’t convince her to stop then the main six would have never met and wouldn’t be connected to the elements. Starlights magic was if equal of even better then twilights so I think that this theory makes sense.

I think Luna's dream walking ability is exclusive to her. I'm pretty sure Luna would've picked up on Starlight's presence. It is an interesting theory though.

Can you do a video about why the writers of the writers of the MLP FIM show decided not to give Spike the same kind of character development as the Mane_6 since he's the male protagonist of this show despite being a Dragon and not a pony? The only thing I don't understand is that why did Celestia give Spike to Twilight Sparkle instead of returning him to the Dragon Land after he hatched from his egg. Where did she even find Spike as an egg so that it could explain who Spike's parents are and why they never came back for him? Why does Spike even exist in this series if he can't be treated like an equivalent to Twilight and her friends which makes them jerks for not having any kind of sympathy for him?

Something that was never on screen but now seems like a fun theory is doing the same thing to a dream of Rumble’s. He was dead set against getting a cutie mark that might stand in the way of becoming a wonderbolt. What if starlight influenced his dream too.

Lowkey a really good theory, but I have one small problem. When Starlight first met Twilight she was surprised to see another alicorn Princess aside from Celestia (and possibly Cadence)

Did you notice that I excluded Luna? Well, that was intentional, Starlight might have not known Luna was free from her imprisonment from the moon. So why would Starlight fear that Luna would've caught her in the act? Or maybe I'm overthinking all of this, like what I always do.

But, I also have a problem with MY "Theory". When she was forming her revenge plan, she could've heard news about the mare in the moon (AKA Luna) was free and not just an old Pony's tale. She also could've gathered information that stated that Luna could be able to walk in dreams. That could've also driven her to execute this plan to invade Apple Blooms dream to spread her cult-propaganda or something.

Starlight is very powerful, so I wouldn't put it past her to be able to do this. I realized something though when you played those clips from Every Little Thing She Does. Starlight was able to achieve complete mind control in that episode. If that spell fell into the wrong hooves it would be disastrous.

there's something that I've been very curious about, when starlight changes something in the past how does that past lead to the future it has? like when starlight convinces the bullies to help flitter shy she didn't fall and get her animal cute mark, how could she get her butterfly mark if never happened? and same with how the other future how did starlight different actions but doing the same thing cause a different future, how did that past thingy lead to that future, and why couldn't twilight to the sonic twilight boom thingy that she did at her coronation, it would probably only she could do it and and fill in for rainbow then meet up with them in the future and become friends IDK if that could work but it might.

(Tho still possible, it would just take a lot of energy) Sure she's Twilight lvl powerful, but from what I know, Twi can't get into dreams. I think that was Starlight Glimmer, but I have found a flaw.
When Starlight removed physical Cutie Marks, they left an equal sign.
With Apple Bloom, it left nothing. Maybe that was because in her physical self, she had no Cutie Mark yet.
Or because it was a dream. Maybe because it was not a physical Cutie Unmarking.
But at the end of the dream, Luna came and said it was her shadow. Was that shadow Starlight until she went back, panicking because Luna had come?

I've an idea of how to fix the Cutie Remark story, calling it "The Cutie Remark - Twilight Days"

It starts off the same way as Cutie Remark, consisting time travel, preventing the Sonic Rainboom, but only to the four. Instead it was done exclusively to Twilight Sparkle which caused her to get hers. Then, once that happened, an invasion of Equestria happened where her's, the Elements of harmony, and all ponies cutie marks are taken away, leaving them as mindless cattle to a race called Raptorians who came to their world from space. The infant Spike was then rescued, protected and raised by one of these Raptorians called Copper, hence why he appears to save Spike after he fell out of the time portal back to the present, though without Twilight Sparkle and the world altered and destroyed, the cutie map and castle are non existant by Starlight Glimmer, whom is revealed to be an agent to the Raptorian Empire, using an artificial cutie mark they made to allow her to transform into a unicorn and use spells.

Spike's guardian, Copper, came from a time before Equestia or even Ponies came to be, where the Raptorian homeworld was once a prosperous and harmonic civilisation. The cradle of friendship that stretched across the stars. Ruled by Princess Porcina, the mother to Copper, she was in charge of protecting the very heart to their power of friendship and equality, the Element of Charity. Then, as it would happen, the balance of power shifted, when Copper's older brothers and sister usurped their mother's throne and through abusing that power caused the collapse and destruction of the Raptorian Homeworld, leading the Raptorians on that world to extinction. Copper seeks to save the Element of Charity, which ended up it protecting him and giving him the gift of immortality. Copper remained dormant for millenias with the element, only to be awoken by a mare who found and befriended him. When confronting a world-threatening enemy, the Element of Charity became one with this mere and not only made her the first Alicorn, but the element became the very first cutie mark that was then shared to all the ponies. After a while of getting adjusted to this new power, she had a vision that the Raptorians within the other worlds have rapidly lost the ways Copper once knew and had almost exhausted their fuel source to their power, meaning that it would now only be a matter of time before the Raptorians would come to reclaim their old homeworld and take that element back, so she with Copper together created a powerful seal around the planet to shield it from outside. That shield would later be used by the Pillars to create the seed that grew to become The Tree of Harmony, although not affecting it. It was only when Princess Celestia and Princess Luna removed the Elements of Harmony from the tree and used them against Discord, and not having them put back for thousands of years that the shield was broken. By the time the Mane 6 placed the Elements back, one agent had successfully landed on their world and started her operation of stealing the cutie marks in a makeshift village, posing as Starlight Glimmer and using the ponies in it as cattle, posingly giving them equality and harmony.

The Cutie Vault was used as a power station to power her communication with The Raptorian Emperor, who had a liking to Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark as the most perfect essence of the Element of Charity he has ever felt and would prove very efficient for his reconquest of their Homeworld and rage war on their hated enemies. Their most vial (though once their friends before the fall), the Dragons. After being defeated by the Mane 6, the agent as Starlight Glimmer would observe through dreams and then physically to find a weakness to the Mane 6, but once time travel came into the picture, and the sonic rainboom, this became the very thing to drive a wedge against the Mane 5 and Twilight Sparkle. This world Spike and Copper, as well as a few handfuls of allys are in is "A Bright and Shiny Future from Swat Kats" style world where machines, robots, vehicles and weapons are all powered by cutie marks, and all non-Raptorians were enslaved or, if they are ponies, treated as war horses and harvesting their manes. Segregated in their own little utopia, equal and non the wiser. "All Ponies are Equal, 'cept Raptorians are more Equal than them!"

Spike and the others must try and defeat The Raptorian Empire, The Raptorian Emperor, and restore Equestria.

The twist in all this is that Twilight Sparkle is trapped in stasis with nothing but the dreams of the adventures with the reformed Starlight Glimmer and her friends from Season 6 onwards.

I know there might be some hole in this idea, but I thought this would fix the potential Starlight Glimmer never got.

Starlight seems more powerful in her magic than twilight so i think she will become an alicorn like you said in one video

Would the magic she used be similiar to Luna's magic? Because Luna said to Celestia when they switched roles that only her magic has power in the dream realm, so only Celestia could do something about Starlight's dream with Luna's magic. So if she did walk in dreams like Luna, either Luna must've lied or not been informed well enough, like with your Alicorn theory and the reaction to Flurry Heart. Or it was a different kind of magic, though we have no clues as to what that could be...

Now we might know who walks in dreams when Luna and Celestial retired.

Once you become a main character you get nerfed super hard, Starlight literally is one of the most powerful characters in this show and then she became a main character and fell off lmao

And this would support my theory that starlight could be the successor of Luna for dreamwalking. after all twilight already does Celestias work and even if she could survive working both roles it is still shown in the series that Celestia had no idea how the dream world worked thus never dreamwalked. plus the name starlight glimmer fits into the theme of night. also her cutie mark has elements that look like the dream world with a stranger magic attached to the star. Also she is the student of starlight so has a good connection to the princesses. I agree that we have not seen strong evidence that starlight became the alicorn of the night but we see nothing against this theory. like she could become an alicorn after the last episode.

I believe that starlight was intended as a red herring in order to tackle the issue of being uncertain about ones future and growing up.

Starlight would have been an interesting villain if she didn't choose friendship.
She just wanted what was best for her village.
The fact that Starlight was completely and utterly evil is just the brainwashing of Twilight and her stupid friendship cult.

Unrealated to this Theory Video but I’ve had something cross my mind. Do Ponies Get Pregnant? We have never seen a Pregnant Pony, some will bring up Cadence, she had Flurry Heart, but were the words Pregnancy or Pregnant ever used? We never saw Cadence actually pregnant with Flurry, we just got an announcement episode and then a couple episodes later Flurry was here. One of you’re first theory videos was about how do Ponies get their names, and how if a Pony is born without a Cutie Mark, why does the Cutie Mark end up being very close to the actual name of the Pony. I think there might be a connection there somewhere, maybe instead of a Pony getting Pregnant and giving Birth, maybe it’s some sort of Deliverance that occurs. An interesting thought when you really think about it

the dream was all applebloom, but it was meant to give us starlights origin story, as both starlight and applebloom had an orange friend/cousin, that got a cutiemark and got accepted into celestias school for gifted hairdressers, which meant that they could no longer be friends/crusaders, and gave them nightmares, the only difference is, that applebloom had lunas help, and a web of social links, keeping her on the right path.

If she did this, then she’d also shatter the hearts of the crystal ponies. They’d be in huge danger, so ofc their hearts would be broken.
Then she might also would’ve divorced shining armor. I still think she’d be against sombra and would’ve wanted to rule the crystal empire still..So she might’ve still protected the crystal empire from him, I’m not sure tho..She might wanna take over Equestria, but she only rules a part of it so I don’t think it’s that necessary for her to do so.

I’m guessing, with her super powerful alicorn magic when she was born, I’m guessing she’d ALSO destroy the crystal heart again, Flurry seems like the type of person to be like starlight when she grows up. So when she does destroy the crystal heart, I’m guessing she’d start to freeze every crystal pony, She would obviously also try to break the crystal empire. Or she would start to manipulate the ponies, So if she doesn’t freeze everyone, then she would probably break their “heart” which means they’ll become selfish and etc. I don’t think Flurry would want only the crystal empire, She’d want every bit of Equestria. By the time flurry does grow up tho, I think princess Luna and celestia would be retired. So twilight would have to deal with this-

I know this is a diffrent theory but i have something to say about the discord species video. You said that other traits couldnt be put into appearances but they could. destruction could have holes like the first changelings. greed could have gold body parts. also his weird appearance could be the result of his magic we have seen his magic change appearances before like cozyglow pand pinkie and he stole clestia and luna's tails. If he was born with the magic then it would be in his dna to look weird so thats why he didnt look normalwhen it was taken away and if he got it as a child then he would have grown up looking weird and it would take time to turn back to normal. like if cozy kept his magic grew some weird parts like a dog leg and then grew up without getting rid of it. it wouldnt really be magic used on her anymore her body would have grown around it

Just gonna put this here, think of it as a theory/ headcanon of mine;
Something always nagged me about why G5 even exists. I've seen videos explaining the magic stones, and theories on what caused Twilight to make them, but I had an idea, albeit, kinda dark and depressing, but hear me out. You see, what I noticed about Twilight's character as the show progressed was that there was one flaw with her, something that wasn't there until about season 4, but became glaring and obvious towards the end. When I think about Twilight, the first thing I think about is that she should probably be the most powerful/ potent magic user in Equestria, bearing the cutie mark of the element of magic within Harmony, and being an alicorn. I think immediately that she probably is more powerful than Flurry Heart, the only natural born alicorn, and more powerful than Starlight, who has been able to cast time-spells. But, one thing always nagged me; why doesn't Twilight ever show how powerful she is? Think about it like this; when was the last time that Twilight, without the help of other magic (friendship, alicorn, etc.) used a ton of magic to solve a problem? The only two significant times I can think of was when she followed Starlight through time (after literally just learning the spell), and when she saved Ponyville from the Ursa Minor in season 1, and that was before she was an alicorn. Of course, Twilight has used large amounts of magic, but it wasn't her own, like against Tirek, she was using the magic of 4 alicorns (which, in my opinion, she should have won that fight outright, but I won't get into that here). She's used the elements of Harmony numerous times to beat the bad guy, but other than the two instances I listed, she rarely ever uses her own magic to solve problems. And there's a perfectly good, and surprisingly depressing explaination. Twilight started relying too much on others. It's a trait that's somewhat nurtured at the end of the show, with lines such as "it's a lot easier when somepony else can do it" when referring to delegates. Twilight started using less and less of her own magic in favor of letting others help or even solve the problems themselves. And that brings me to how this ties to G5. Imagine this: hundreds of moons have passed since Twilight's coronation. We have a New 6, not even the Young 6, and Twilight has only 3 relatives now, being Spike, Flurry, and Cadence. Another thing to note, even though the elements of Harmony are magic within friendship, something hit me about the Young 6 that probably could have persisted in every "6" thereafter: there was no magic user (aside from the changeling, but in essence, changelings don't have the same fundamental magic as previous incarnations of the 6 have had, ie Twilight and Starswirl). With no magic user, I could easily imagine that the elements would be used for every conflict thereafter. But what happens when a day comes, and a New 6 haven't emerged? And now, a threat to all of Equestria emerges, and the only one who's even powerful enough to stop it, is Twilight. But... Twilight hasn't had to use her magic in who knows how long... In a way, she's grown soft, and scared. The reality hits her, and one problem that she always struggled with throughout the show, the one problem that we never got a resolve for hits all of Equestria like Rainboom: Twilight's self doubt. And, to darken the room even more, what if...
What if the threat is Flurry Heart?
Flurry Heart. One of the very few people Twilight has left of all her relationships. Literally family. And now, she has to stop her. All these aspects combined, the 6 being missing, Twilight's self doubt and a villain who even the viewer couldn't bear the thought of having to defeat. All this could very well spell the means of G5. In an effort to stop Flurry Heart, being unable to bring herself to stop the villain herself, Twilight takes alicorn magic away for good, dividing it into its core components. A little long, so thanks if you read this far, and feel free to give me your thoughts if you have any. This kinda means a lot to me though, since I felt like Twilight really did get a not so happy ending, considering she ended with these problems still being relevant.

And this opens up a new idea! what if applebloom was stolen from another selfish mare and that is also another thing that starlight would try to get in her cult...her stolen daughter! and there for starlight could grow trust with applebloom and tell her she;s her real mother!

It's an intersting theory. The problem is that it's impossible. There was no way for Starlight to have learned dreamwalking magic. Not unless you want to argue that she's spent some time on the moon. Dreamwalking isn't a skill that can be learned, it's something that has to be given. Luna never learned how to dreamwalk, Nightmare Moon did while on the moon. And even if you make the argument that Starlight was on the moon at some point, it's unlikely that they would've trusted another pony with those powers after their experience with Nightmare Moon.

Perhaps Luna would be able to pass on her dreamwalking power to someone else. But that's a different issue.
