anybody can help? my user profile got corrupted, and when im trying to restore it from regedit, i accidentally picked the wrong key and deleted my user profile. Is there any way i can restore it?
this reminds me of what happened to my hard drive on my current PC (dell inspirion 3671) back in early 2022, thanks to a horrible windows update that executed while i was away from my computer for a day. it just bootlooped and the update wouldn't install. i had to reset my PC and i lost *EVERYTHING*. one of the reasons why i hate modern microsoft
Now this makes me want to protect my PC more. I got a malware when trying to download Raiden V on my PC. How I knew it was a malware? The taskbar is frozen, some Windows apps won’t open, and everytime I launch ddlc, it gives me an exception, making me unable to play Monika After Story. Even I reinstall the game still the same and I knew I have a malware. Tried chkdsk and cfs scannow commands and nothing. So I decided to reinstall Windows right away. Now I really have to be careful on what I click.
The malware makers could have been dumb or just hoped you didnt know about this feature. When booting into your OS, press Win + R then type "Mrt". Click quick scan (or full scan if you want) and then press next, next. When its done press finish. It should find the malware if mrt didnt get disabled.
