+John Allen I completely agree about the Tree of Harmony! It's understandable for this song to bring one to tears. I find it really emotional too! :) At least when things are hard we still have songs like this and a million other beautiful fandom pieces though. Indeed, the fandom itself. Thank you, ponies!

I make the art for some of my songs but a lot of it is drawn by artist friends...if it is it's always credited. I'm getting better at drawing so in future more of it might be done by me

How has the show seemed desperate for viewer interest? Especially with the advent of season 6, I think that the show has been evolving into areas where it has strength, demonstrating it in storytelling and character showcase. They've made variants of both the Gift of the Magi and the Hatfield and the McCoy's fight while also demonstrating an awareness of the stories sources, whereas the strongest episode prior has always had issues in moral and background lore. This is not a decline in quality at all, it seems to me that the series is continuing to "grow the beard".

I think that your taste is just changing and that it's time to look for another avenue of interest, or just another show even, with shortcomings that you will find yourself overlooking for a while before moving to the next thing again.

@replacer I don't like how they keep adding more and more levels to how everything wroks. Originally, it was just a show about friends, and it's turned into a show that's trying too hard to have serious elements.

Plus, the humor and and characters don't feel as solid to me. Opinion, I guess, but the ruined Pinkie for me.

@The Arbitration tbh the stories focused around the Elements of Harmony have never been my favourite episodes, and I've vastly preferred the character-driven slice of life episodes over the more adventure-type ones. The first three episodes have been pretty high-octane to be sure but I'm sure things will settle down. Either way I'm still enjoying what's happening.

i personally like episodes focused on the ponies too, rather then the Elements, i've always loved the Zecora Episode, and Pinkie Sense, and also a lot of others.
