I've been considering starting a collab in which everyone composes their own piece, much like rocks are epic, around a given chord pattern and tempo. It would be something relatively simple so people could have the freedom to create anything they wanted. I'd be looking for people that actually do have the musical talent required to pull that off though, so the only thing keeping me from starting is the lack of quality submissions I think I would get, especially given my relatively small collection of subscribers.
I think it's a cool idea, but I just don't know if it's worth the effort. Thoughts?
I think that could be really neat - I would totally take part in that! I definitely think something like that would make more sense as a closed collab where you just ask specific people if they want to be part of it, that way you can just have people who have some experience with these kinds of videos be involved. In terms of who should be in it, off the top of my head, Chief Doggingd has experience with original song YTPMVs and he is really talented.
