I tried this on windows 10, and if you do this exploit and make the new user an administrator, you can completely skip OOBE by editing the registry. This is not possible to do durring OOBE.

Help me... my windows installing went wrong... note: Kingston was a clean SSD. Samsung is my own old SSD.

I was installing windows10 from a USB to my Kingston Samsung SSD (for someone else), but I was using my computer witch already had windows10 installed on it.
So now, I can't load windows from my Kingston SSD alone - When I have Kingston unplugged, loading windows from my Samsung SSD, it will suggest 2 operating systems for me to LOAD into, like it has made it boot-files, for both windows10 systems on my own Samsung SSD, even though the Kingston has windows-files installed in it.

Im obviously just gonna wipe the Kingston SSD clean, but now it will always ask witch windows 10 system I wanna log into (AND CHOOSE THE WRONG ONE IF IM NOT FAST ENOUGHT, TO CHOOSE MYSELF, RIP -.-)

Btw, I do not have any kind of back-up :))) All my presets, tweaks ect. - I can't lose all that sh!t pls help

Once O deleted the whole directory out of my pc and the startmenu outright stopped working. Then I downloaded those files and put them back in their place, and suddenly the start menu is fine now........ Lesson learned..... If you want to use windows 10, lwt Microsoft probe you everytime you use it, OR ELSE.

The reason it reboots when you close the oobe is because the system is in sysprep mode, during this state it has loaded the oobe app defined at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\cmdline as local system admin(NT AUTHORITY/system)

One can change that to say.. cmd.exe and then when it reboots poof, console only or to explorer.exe and use the system account as a normal account(Not advised).

The second key you will find useful that controlls how windows reacts when you close said cmdline is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\SetupType on a installed system this is set to 0 but other values are 1 and 2 what I forget off the top of my head what they do I know one is reboot on close and I think the other is to let winlogon continue after(citation needed).
